    Texas at Oklahoma St.

Possibly the Biggest win in Coach Steelah's time at Ok State.
In what ended up being a tale of 2 halves, The Cowboys gave it their all to pull off a tough win.

The game looked being pretty much over by the time Halftime came around. Down 17-0, things weren't looking to good as the Cowboys were thinking of last years blowout loss to Texas.

    Enter the 2nd half:
3rd quarter: The cowboys receive the kickoff and march down the field, and capped the long drive off with a 36yd Touchdown strike to WR Jon Palmer from QB Michael Johnson.

OKlahoma St. Score again on a pass from Johnson to HB Vincent Watkins for 15yds.

Then Texas comes roaring back with a huge pass from Qb Higgins to Warren for a 70yd TD.

    4th quarter, 24-14 Texas:
Texas marches down the field to about the 5yd line. Higgins dropps back and throw's a pick to Mark Collins who takes it 93yds to the house.

Just when the momentum starts swinging Oklahoma St's way, Texas Qb Higgins hits G. Warren again on a huge td that went for 53 yards.

Then the cowboys come back with another TD strike from Johnson to Palmer for 26yds

The Cowboys recived the ball and go all the way down to the Texas 1yd line, and on 4th and 1, Coach Steelah made possibly the biggest call of his career.
(Go for the tie with 9 seconds left, or say hell with it, this has been a bad season and go for the win.)
Well, he said fuck it and went for it!!

So with Oklahoma St. now with their 1st lead of the game and 9 seconds left on the clock, they now kickoff to Texas and begin praying.
On Texas's 1st play with the clock now at 8 seconds, Higgins dumps a screen pass of to the Rb who takes it up field for a few yards, but then gets the ball stripped by none other than CB Mark Collins and recoverd by Cb Jimmy Andrews

All in all, It was a game for the ages. As Coach Kinger said at the end of the game "Texas got the breaks in the 1st half, and Ok St. got em in the 2nd half"

This game was pretty much a complete mirror of the previous weeks game against Oklahoma.

I see you're still good at stopping the WR screen

The 27-yarder to Palmer was pure, unadulterated luck, as I'm sure you'll readily admit. Not only does the Texas guy who was standing RIGHT in front of the pass not make the pick, he then misses the tackle, leaving Palmer to do a ricotta pirouette around the next guy. Still a great win no matter how you slice it.

    Nice game report.

Yeah that was definite luck, I thought it was going to be picked.
Maybe it was Karma, lol. Early on in the game Kinger got called for offsides, it was completely the computers fault so I declined it. His player was moving to get in position and bumped my oline. CPU glitch at its finest, lol.

it was a great game to play, a few weird momentum shifts, but solid play by OK State nonetheless.

The 4th and goal to win was a big balls call and he punched it in. The to seal it with the strip and recovery was just big time college ball.
