TEXAS LONGHORN GAME SUMMARIES FRISK HAUNTED BY #1 HUSKERS, DROPS FIRST LOSS 16-6 Once again Frisk has troubles with #1 Nebraska (7-0, 5-0). Turnovers proved to send #6 Texas (8-1,4-1) packing once again as they threw 3 interceptions, 2 within the redzone. " We played too conservative, its like we were trying not to lose. It's like we were waiting for Green and the Huskers to slip. We needed to capitalize and take control of that game," Frisk mentioned after the loss. The Nebraska defense held the Longhorns to only 174 total yards offense, with 31 of it being on the ground. Sophomore QB Garrett Gilbert threw for 143 yards on 15 completions with 31 attempts. The Longhorn defense muffled the Nebraska offensive attack but not enough to come away with the win. They held them to 52 yards on the ground and held Heisman candidate Cody Green to 172 yards in the air. Frisk explained that, "The key difference in the game was Nebraska's ability to score in the red zone. They scored all three times they were there while we did not. We had to settle for two long field goals."
