    Texas Tech's D Bounces Back

    The first play of the game, was the Play of the Game, made by the Player of the Game. Sophomore MLB Johnny Miller intercepted a pass from Missouri QB Blaine Dalton, and took it back 28 yards for a score. See the link below:


    That play set the tone for the day, as the Texas Tech defense stepped up after the worst defensive performance of the season last week vs Texas A&M. The Tigers made 4 trips to the red zone, and only came away with one score, and was 0 for 9 on third down, and 0 for 2 on fourth.

    Tech QB Steven Sheffield threw a 60 yard TD pass to receiver Cornelius Douglas for the go-ahead score in the third quarter, to give the Red Raiders a much needed win on the road.
