Gridirion Gladiator season two is now underway. Season one was nothing short of fantastic, had some great duels on the field and off the field in recruiting. I just hope season two is as good as season one. Second id like to give a shout out to coahc Oregon Gunner and the Oregon State Beavers for winning the title last year. Every one else is chasing you so watch out. with that said here are this years gladiators!

    week 2

    A rivalry renewed

Game of the week: The last time these two rivals played was 2008, both of the coaches thought that was way way too long. so they scheduled the game in 2011. Miami comes in number 16 and Florida comes in number 3. Last year the canes had a disappointing season while the gators took the SEC title. Last week Florida and the fastest man in football beat the number one ranked Ohio State, while Miami had a bye.

    Miami Hurricans

    Defense

Miami has one of the best defenses in the nation, they are lead by junior DT Marcus Fortson who will clog alot of holes this year. This hurricans secondary really doesnt have any weak links, it will be very hard for Brantly to throw on these guys. Look for this defense to be making big plays all game and all year.

    Offense

The cane o is lead by senior Jacory Harris, who is nothing short of spectacular. Harris has two excellent targets to throw to, Laron Byrd and Travis Benjamin. The weak point of this offense is the running back, They have three average but young guys that have alot of potential. These kids must step up to take some load off of the pass game.

    Florida Gators

    Defense

Floridas defense is just as good if not better than Miamis. Janoris Jenkins might be the best shutdown corner in the nation, the Miami wide outs will have a difficult time getting open on this kid. The rest of the Florida D is good but not great. This defense is super fast and will fly to the ball before you can even get past the line of scrimage. The canes will have a difficult time tonight!

    Offense

We all know who is the man on the Florida Gators offense, his name is Jeff Demps and he is really fast. Demps is one of the top 5 running backs in the country. Look for him to be running all over this Miami defense today, watch out this kid might be in new york at the end of the year thats how good he is.
If this offense had a weak point it would be Senior John Brantley at QB, he just really hasn't done anything to impress me.

    Final Evaluation

The Florida Gators are the better team all around, they have a slight advantage over the Canes in almost every area. The gators will walk away with a 10-17 point victory.

Stanford comes into this game number one in the nation! ill tell you something these crazy LSU fans behind me would love to crush the dreams the cardinal have. Last week snatford beat a good Utah team but im here to tell you that Utah isnt even close to LSU. LSU is faster, stronger, tougher, bigger, more athletic. This will be the toughest matchup for the Cardinal all year.

Ofense: On offense LSU has the best duel threat QB in the nation. Jordan Jefferson can run and he can throw, he isnt the most polshed of passers but when you place a phenomenol wide receiver core around him good things happen. STanford will be lucky to get any pressure on Jefferson this O-line is nothing short of amazing. This is a verteran group who have played together for years. AT reciever the tigers have Randle ROuben and Russel Shepard two very dynamic play makers.

Defense: This Tiger team doesnt have their greatest defense every but they are still very fast and very physical. Patrick Paterson is arguably the best shutdown corner in the college game right now. Look for safties Brandon Taylor and Craig Loston to be swarming all over the red jerseys tonight. This defense will give stanford alot of trouble today.

Offense: Anytime you loose a sophmore QB to the NFL you know your gonna have some holes to fill, well stanford is plugging that holes with Sophmore Josh Nunes. Nunes isnt nearly as skilled as Luck but can come into a game make good choices and not loose the game. If he can just put the ball in receiver Chris Owasu's hands big things can happen for this offense. Their running game has to be their weakest point and will be the key to winning or loosing today.

Defense: The heart and soul of this defense is Shane Skov, Skov is fast out side linebacker who can take down just about anyback in the nation. If this kkid can put together a good game tonight he just may be able to will a victory for the cardinal.

    Predicitons

Boise @ Clemson: Senior QB Kellen Moore is the best QB in the game right now he is out to prove something to the world and it starts against Clemson.

Tennesse @ Florida: Demps and the gators are just too good.

Virginia Tech @ Georgia Tech: This option attack is tough to stop.

LSU vs STanford: Speed and home field advantage is just too much1
