It looks like we have six so far.

Seems like the trend is for most dynasties run AA difficulty with modified sliders, all with good results. I would be OK with that.

What are everybody's thoughts as far as teams and conferences? I wouldn't mind having 2 conferences and split the users (again, that seems to be the trend). Maybe something like Big 10/Pac 10, Big East/ACC, something like that.

Let's keep this thing rolling and get some more users.

I say you try and come up with a gimmick or something that will draw interest. A simple big 10/ACC/BIG 12 dynasty wont do the trick. For example there is TF: The duece where it is custom conference of all 5/6 star teams. On the other end of the spectrum there is TF:Creation, where you create a team with a specific roster set.

I think if you find a unique dynasty idea with the right bells and whistles it could be a hit to an already impressive roster of TF: Xbox 360 dynasties. If anybody has ideas they should post it here.

I'd be in favor of BCS teams that have low ratings.........less than 3 stars. Can an online dynasty have more than 12 teams?

Agreed, we will have to come up with something different to set our dynasty apart. I'm not sure what that could be, but maybe we can throw out ideas as they come and vote or all agree on something once we have filled all spots.

Dakota7: I believe 12 is the max amount of users, but not 100% sure. Maybe someone else can varify.

I've been appointed commish of this new dynasty. Keep up the conversation about your opinions of what conferences you want to use.

12 is the max number of teams by the way.

Yeah it definitely will be a challenge for us to figure out something unique and worth while. To help with brainstorming I want to throw out the word "Progression." Let's be honest, not everyone that joins will be in it for the long haul but some of us will be.......those of us who are will be very concerned with progression. If we were to somehow put together a league with perks and limitations I think it would not only be challenging but could even the playing field for those who want to control a 5 star powerhouse and those who want to build up a 2 star below average team. One of the most rewarding things to me is having a bunch of two stars on your recruiting board and them building up to 4 and 5 stars.....I know this takes time and patience.

Just some thoughts I am getting out there...

There are a couple of directions we could go in. Once we get 12 guys in the league we can figure out what the majority wants but here are a couple of ideas.

    1. BCS conferences with no championship game (Big 10, Pac 10, Big East)

    2. BCS conferences with a championship game (ACC, Big 12, SEC)

    3. Mid-Major conferences (CUSA, MAC, Mountain West)

    4. Small schools (Sun Belt, WAC, Army, Navy)

We could also mix it up where use 6 conferences with 2 in each conference. We could go by prestige and say only :2stars: and under.

One idea I kind of like is using the lower rated schools that are in BCS conferences like Vanderbilt, Duke, Indiana, and Syracuse for example.

I like the idea of 2 star cap in BCS conferences. There are not a lot of 2 star teams in BCS conferences so I put together a comprehensive report of the possibilities of teams we could choose. So The following schools are....

    "Key"
    * Teams in Red are 2 Star teams
    * Teams Underlined are the three worst graded/prestige teams in each conference
    * Teams in Yellow are 4 star teams
    * Teams in Regular font ar 3 star teams

    ACC
    Duke
    Clemson
    Maryland
    NC State
    Virginia
    Wake Forest

    Big Ten
    Illinois
    Indiana
    Iowa
    Michigan St
    Minnesota
    Northwerstern
    Purdue

    Big 12
    Baylor
    Iowa State
    Kansas St

    Pac 10
    Arizona
    Stanford
    Washington
    Washington St

    SEC
    Arkansas
    Kentucky
    Miss St
    Ole Miss
    South Carolina
    Vanderbilt

    Big East
    Syracuse
    Uconn
    Louisville
    USF

Hopefully this can help us decide. I personally like the idea of choosing only from the Underlined teams in quest to bring a team on the bottom of a BCS conference to the top... I call it

TF: Bottom to Top ( Something along those lines.....maybe a more clever play on words)

How do you guys feel about using all 6 conferences and going with 2 users per conference? Also I thought I'd throw another name out there....TF: Climbing the Ladder.
