TFCL Rules and Information

I'm pleased to announce something that we have been working on behind the scenes a little. Tradition Pro Clubs League (TPCL) will provide a lot of fun and entertainment for everyone who enjoys the Pro Clubs mode in FIFA 13 on XBOX 360. The idea is to create a league where all individual clubs are managed independently within a league, but still remain under the TSO banner (additional external clubs are a real possibility). This league will provide a dynamic league format so that players can play MORE clubs matches with the people they enjoy playing with and hopefully a position they enjoy playing as.

Keep in mind that Tradition FC will still exist and will be here known as an all-star club where players who are performing well in the leagues can be called up to help represent the site.

With that being said, here is the run down:

LEAGUE SETUP

Teams:
Depending on how many players are in the initial pool we will break up into teams of four, and up to 11 depending on how much interest we are able to draw. The teams will be formed via draft, with 2 captains per team. Once the player pool has been created, players can then nominate themselves as a team captain by sending a PM to Timpegoose, Drifterbub, and Moonbbad. Once the captains have been decided, we will have a draft. In the event of a team expansion there will be an expansion draft. We will provide instructions for protecting current team's players before the expansion draft.

Schedule:
Each team will play a home and home against the other teams. A game night will consist of a set of 3 games in an attempt to make the season have more games without dragging the inaugural season out too long. Playing 3 games per week takes just over an hour, and would be fairly easy to knock out in one sitting. We will advance to the next set of games once per week, likely on Sundays.

Stat Tracking:
We will be developing a Google form to embed into the forums for easy tracking of results and stats. We'll hopefully be making this as easy as possible for the captains to enter without jumping through too many hoops. Stats tracked will be Goals, Assists, Cards, and Man of the Match. On the back end hopefully we can develop something to automate splitting it out into a decent looking table, at this point we’re not sure Google’s capabilities here. We’ll learn as we go.

RULES

1. Please make your pros realistic. What we mean by this is no 6'6 strikers, and no 5'2 wingers. This also includes weight. Please reference the below table for player height guidelines:

GK: 5'8" - 6'4"
D: 5'8" - 6'4"
MF: 5'6" - 6'2"
ST: 5'6" - 6'4"
As for weights, again, we don’t want anything unrealistic. Nothing over 220 lbs and under 115 lbs. If you have questions on setting up your pro or if you have concerns if your setup is legal please send a PM to Drifterbub, MoonBBad, JonMK or Timpegoose and we can help you out.

2. You must have at least 4 players on to play a league match, and must have somebody controlling the ANY position. Outside of that, the lineups are up to what the captains and teams decide.

3. Write-ups need to be done for EVERY match played. Same rules as the TFL. Follow the example laid out here.The write up is the responsibility of the WINNING side. If the match ends in a draw then the AWAY team that draws needs to do the write up. Please police amongst yourselves who will be recording the stats and doing the write-ups prior to your games so there is no confusion.

4. If a game is scheduled as stated before, four members of each team need to be present. If not all four members are present after 15 minutes the team missing the players will forfeit the game. If 15 more minutes goes by then they will forfeit the second game and so on and so forth.

5. No ridiculous, cheesey set piece plays. For example, the goalie should not be in the box unless it’s close to the end of the game and that team is losing. Please think SIM when you are coming up with set piece plays if you chose to do so. No more than two kick player changes when lining up for free kicks. It’s annoying.

6. In the event of a freeze, each captain should hop in a party and work it out. Use common sense. For example, if it’s the second half of a tie game and there’s a drop, then create another game and just play the half.

7. Trades are allowed at any time. However, trades need to be worked out between the Captains and then a PM needs to be shot to Drifterbub, MoonBBad, and Timpegoose for approval. This is to maintain league integrity.

8. Player drops are allowed at any time throughout the season. If a player is being considered to be dropped please PM Drifterbub, MoonBBad, and Timpegoose and let us know why. We will try to help the situation and figure out what the crux of the issue is. Players shouldn't be dropped because of skill levels. That is where trades would come into play. In the event it is determined that a team is allowed to drop a player due to disciplinary reasons, Drifterbub, MoonBBad, and Timpegoose at that time will determine whether that player is eligible to re-enter the player pool at the end of the season or if they will be removed from the league.

THE DRAFT

Below is how the draft will be conducted:

Random order with a reverse snake pick order for the initial draft. Everyone applies to be part of the draft pool before the draft starts.
If you are not in the pool you will need to wait until the next season draft before playing in the Club league.
If you are drafted by a team, you cannot join another team unless you are released or traded, the club that drafted you owns your rights.
At the end of the season all the new members that have applied throughout the season will enter the new member draft and that draft will be exactly like the NFL draft. We will have an offseason for teams to make trades.
