In the second leg of a 1-0 loss against AC Milan, Istanbul was determined to do better. Considered the controversy after the first game, players did not need a motivational speech. Season high 3 yellows show how Istanbul BB was ready to do whatever it takes to stop the strong opponent headed back to PL. When Ibo scored his usual early on, it seemed impossible to come back against a team in such great form lately. But the heroes were on duty again. Holosko and Gokhan Unal helped each other to grab the lead.
A defensive choke led Pato alone in the box, Hasagic was aggressive, probably with the adrenalin from the game in general. What appeared to be an easy grab became a slap into his own net (as seen below).
A tie was still a good result, with hedache on his way out of Istanbul BB, the only thing to fire these players up would be the recent events involving AC Milan, and it did. From here on, Istanbul will probably just try to hold on to a middle spot as targeted in the beginning of the season and hit the finish line.

The EA servers went out just after half in game 1 with OL leading 2-1 so I don't know the times of the goals.

Two absolute beauties from Stevie G. The second was on the end of about twelve passes around my box. Give or take, but it was marvelous. Too bad it was scored on me to equalize.

Another thrilling game from Istanbul, this time against Benfica. The Portugese side dominated most of the game, including an unlikely lead in possession after first half. Istanbul BB players woke up from their afternoon nap around 70th minute, and had their say that the season may be over for them, but there's still some more left to put on the field. Most of the chances came at the end for Istanbul. When Gokhan Unal scored on 88th, everyone took a deep breath, this wasn't going to be another loss. Gokhan had one more left in him, he was determined to get a game winner as well, which happened in the dying seconds of the game. Another win to keep Istanbul in par for middle of the table.

Hopefully you can get the momentum back and take it all the way into next season. :)

I had to play on defensive because a few of those lobs at the beginning had me worried.

Nothing to report here. We got disconnected in about the 75th minute so we just replayed a whole half and that ended scoreless as well. My finishing this season has been atrocious. We both created some chances, but neither team could capitalize. Good game clutch

This game could've just as easily been 10-10. Lots of near misses and opportunities.
