    TFRL Driver Power Rankings!!

    1. Hellisan - Well is there any question. I would describe Helli as smooth and quick. He enter and exits turns like no other. The only way we can compete is when he builds some crazy car that just isn't really that fast. Great to have in the league to keep us humble.
      _
    2. Casino - IMO Casino is a pure driver. Cole Trickle style. He doesn't know shit about the cars but he can drive em. He is fast and very consistent and is not afraid to mess with you on the track. His main issue is that he is poor and can't buy the cars to make him really compete with Hellisan.
      _
    3. Basis - Tom jumped right into the pack and can race with the best of them. He tunes his own rides and when he prepares he is hard to beat. Nice addition to the TFRL
      _
    4. jms493 - Well I am a middle of the pack racer for the most part. This is where I feel I fit in.
      _
    5. Del - Love Del. So glad he joined our group as he is a pleasure to talk to and have racing in our league. He was missed when he had his LOA. He can build sick cars (see Silvia). He is fast when up front and will catch you when behind. Biggest problem is he is too nice. He will often give up spots to be too careful sometimes. Although he nailed me in the Boot once so hard he sent my car into the stratosphere.
      _
    6. Bondzai - Solid guy and fun to race with. He just loves racing being in the thick of things. Reminds me of Steelah as he complains about nothing. When he practices he can race....but that doesnt happen too often.
      _
    7. Blaza - "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" Blaza's call sign. Love it when he he is part of the races. He is TFRL's comedy relief. He can race for a short while but his mistakes always get the better of him. If he put together 5 clean laps instead of 2/5 he may be in the top 3.
    Honorable Mentions
Rynoaid - Missing him as his wheel broke and he cant race with the puny controller. He is a consistent racer and very intense. Rub him the wrong way and he wont hold back and will let you know what he thinks about you. Great character for the league and we need him back!

Mitchedout - Well, well, what can I say about my buddy Mitch. Although he has not joined us recently. His style is win or die. Forza is his only game and he puts the time in. He would be competing with Hellisan for the top spot if he was part of the races more but his style sometimes conflict with our group. I am sure he will join us again and just watch out as he is more of a unconventional racer.

    Ralnakor - yeah Right!!! LULZ!

Hehehe, good post man. This game is the ultimate frustration to me sometimes. I have a blast when I don't wreck my car on the first lap--which is about half the time. I think I need to reserve Forza night as 'no bourbon' night from now on.

Boot - The car's trunk. In England, elephants have trunks, not cars!

    1. Hellisan - Yeah I have to list me first, I don't put as much time in as mitch in the current game but I was the type that made sure I got all golds in Gran Turismo and I've been playing racing games ever since... Gives me an advantage IMO, I just know angles around the track. IMO the #1 thing I do better than you guys is pass.

      -
    2. Del - Maybe he was ranked lower than the following two because of the aforementioned LOA but when he shows up I believe his average finish is superior. He gives me problems on a few tracks and really knows how to race. I like his style although I'd like him to get more aggressive and not give up races by letting people go by. He will be deadly if he can get better at passing, because he's a good lapper.
      _
    3. jms493 - While middle of the pack is occasionally accurate, he is very consistent and very rarely has a bad race. That sets him apart from Casino with the current game. The difference between the #1/#2 drivers and Mitch and the rest is just love of the game, we do, you don't. Oh yeah.. And the clutch. :)
      _
    4. Casino - Talented driver and could compete for #2 if he played the game more than occasionally. Meh, until he cares about the game I dont' care about him!
      _
    5. Basis - At this point I can't get him higher because he's still inconsistent. The talent is clearly there, he hasn't had the game long and is already competitive.

I will agree with the rest and expand on Mitch....

I really like Mitch on a basic level (personality). If he spent the same amount of time learning the lines and learning to use the left stick to drive, he wouldn't need to have the fastest car, shoot through the middle of the pack every single fucking race in a desperate attempt to get to the front by the first turn... or use shortcuts. (which he HAS NOT done in TF racing but I digress...) It tells me he's not confident unless he's in front which could hold him back. That's one thing I will say about me is even if I'm way behind you I feel very confident you are going down. Learn to race, there is honor in a clean 2nd place finish if a 1st wasn't in the cards. Not good for the veteran ranking, but good for the soul damnit!

I agreed with JMS's assessment. Hell I rarely see you on the track so how could I have anything to say? If you liked the game as much as you like Fifa you'd be good, obviously, becuase you're competitive despite never playing. Like why you'd get frustrated becuase you're not ace at a game you put no effort into is beyond me

My attempt to get Del to be less nice:

    Dear Del,

Hello mate. Cheerio. G'day. Shrimp on the bArbie.. Oh wait you say that's austrailian?

    Ok to the chase.

Here is why you should stop letting people go by if you clip them. Say the apology and keep going. WE KNOW you didn't mean to hit us, you're not that type of individual. If you destroy on Le Mans again then do what you want, :D I totally get that but if it's a typical clipjob keep going.

Oh yeah the why part... Well... Let's say there are 5 people in a race. You're coming up and battling the #2 guy for position and you clip him and he goes off the track a little bit. You slow down to let him go by. But he's struggling to get the car back on track. Guess what... FREE WIN for the #1 guy, he didn't do anything to deserve that win! How about if you're battling for 3rd... Then two guys get away free. If you race up to the front and engage the other guy then you both might slow down and give the guy you clipped a chance to get back in the race, but a lot of times, not only are you slowing down but then the other guy gets confused and takes more time to get going again because he might not be sure why you're going so slow etc.

Reason #2: Half the time when two guys rub paint it's not even possible to determine who was at fault until later, EFF THAT, keep going! I've gotten in so many clips where I thought a guy was just as at fault as me but then saw the replay... and it was my fault. Or, vice versa.

Reason #3: Two slow cars on the track is WAY worse and more confusing to the drivers coming up behind them than just 1 car. So while it feels like a nice thing to do it's really just adding confusion/crashes.... Unless you're already in last place...

My suggestion is this... Get more aggressive but only to a degree that you are comfortable with. If an accident happens we know you didn't mean to do it... keep going!

Yeah that was some good practice and those Clio tunes were nice. I'll be looking for you guys more often to get more races in.

Yeah she got in on some races today. She wiped me out pretty good on the Laguna Seca corkscrew. Del says it's because of my accent. :)
