TCU signing the #1 QB and C is astonishing but it's good to see CPU doing their part.

:4stars:G(#2) STEVEN RICHARDSON, 6'1", 294lbs, Wisconsin Rapids, WI
KEY RATINGS- B+ ACCEL/ B STRENGTH/ B- PASS BLOCK, RUN BLOCK, IMPACT BLOCKING, RUN BLOCK FOOTWORK, RUN BLOCK STRENGTH, PASS BLOCK FOOTWORK, PASS BLOCK STRENGTH
---With the offensive line being a huge need for us this recruiting season, we were estastic to see Richardson instant commit to us when we offered the scholarship. Richardson is a big time prospect and could conceivably start for us off the bat. But depending on how the offensive line situation shakes out for us, he could be in there. Of course we would love to get him into our program and make him become a top tier offensive linemen, but he has pure talent.

:4stars:G(#4) BRIAN SUTHERLAND, 6'3", 315lbs, Maryland Heights, OH
KEY RATINGS- B+ ACCEL, PASS BLCOK FOOTWORK, PASS BLOCK STRENGTH/ B- STRENGTH/ C+ AWARENESS, PASS BLOCK, IMPACT BLOCKING
---Again with a need at the offensive line spot, getting Sutherland was a great get. Sutherland is an elite pass blocking guard. He's already one of the better ones out here even on the collegiate level. He's not quite as polished as Richardson in terms of overall talent but Sutherland has excellent tools and could find himself landing at the tackle spot.

We added 3 star HB Spencer Brock to our stable of HBs

    5'6 189 :3stars:A SPD, A AGL, A+ ACC, A ELU, C+ BKT

He is another little shit that will play many roles as, PR, KR, 3rd Down Back. We have 3 of these little bastids now as it should be interesting how they pan out....I still like the power back that I can count on getting positive yards every play. These get bounced around like bowling pins if you can catch them.

    James Freeman ATH (#1) :5stars:
    6'2" 215 lbs, Asuza, CA
    B+ SPEED | B- CATCHING | B ROUTE RUNNING | B AGILITY | C- CATCH IN TRAFFIC
-Translates to a WR, we really like his size and catching ability. Since we are deep at the position we can redshirt him and he has a chance to be a stud in the future.

    Marcus Love ATH (#5) :5stars:
6'4" 220 lbs, Costa Mesa, CA
    B+ SPEED | B- CATCHING | B- CATCH IN TRAFFIC | B+ ROUTE RUNNING
-Like Freeman, will be a WR. This guy will be a match up nightmare with reliable hands. He will be a go to guy for sure.

    Jermaine Butler DT (#2) :4stars:
    6'2" 257 lbs, Ensley, FL
    D- SPEED | B STRENGTH | B- BLOCK SHED | B- POWER MOVES | B- FINESSE MOVES | B- PURSUIT | C+ TACKLE
-Undersized but plays big. DTs flourish in the Stanford defense so we expect him to be very productive.

    Marquis Harris MLB (#3) :4stars:
    6'0" 220 lbs, Irvine, CA
    B- SPEED | C+ STRENGTH | B- TACKLE | B HIT POWER | C+ PURSUIT | C+ POWER MOVES | B BLOCK SHEDDING
-We randomly threw a scholly at him and he signed. We're happy to have him as we continue to sign well rounded LBs. He's strong in the box and can break through blocks. He will have time to improve as a tackler since we have a pretty nice freshman ahead of him in Jeff Austin.

    Nice timing, then.

Yeah I have only gotten one important X2 this year and it was on that #1 Defensive Tackle the week that he signed. I'll put up a summary of our guys on the next advance, we'll have 1-3 guys sign this week.

Hellisan youre welcome on that TE... I managed to pull off another one of those calls that seem like they are going fine, but end with 0 points lol

You didn't really get 0 points... It just means that you pushed a button kind of early... at a weird time when it wasn't expecting. Believe me you still got the points, I see that all the time because I am always trying to hurry things. But I keep track of all that crap and it doesn't mean you really got 0 points. But yeah I'll enjoy the TE.. Fucking ohio state (non capitalized on purpose) stole that CB from me with a X2, nice grab for them, they also landed my #1 OLB this week.

    Now Signed

    :5stars: #2 HB Matt Hall - 5'11" 202 lbs - Englewood FL - ovr rk: 3 - speed rk: 11 - power rk: 1
    B+ SPD/ B ACC/ B AGI/ D+ AWR/ B STA/ B INJ/ C+ STR/ C+ BTK/ C- ELU/ B TRK/ C CAR/ C BCV/ C+ SFA/ B SPM/ B JKM/ D CTH/ C+ RTE/ D- IBL/ D- RBK/ D- PBK/
I've actually come to like power halfbacks quite a bit in this year's game, so it's not bad getting the #1 power back by my rankings and #3 overall.

    :4stars: #15 WR Pat Goodman - 6'5" 202 lbs - Ashdown AR - ovr rk: 3 - speed rk: 4 - possession rk: 3
    B SPD/ B- AGI/ D AWR/ B- STA/ B- INJ/ D+ BTK/ D- ELU/ A- CAR/ D- SFA/ D SPM/ D+ JKM/ C+ CTH/ B RTE/ B CIT/ B SPC/ B- JMP/ B REL/
Last year I went on record as saying I'd like to get a Cris Carter type WR... Well this guy is a bigger version of that type of a guy, has a great release rating and can really run routes and catch.

    :4stars: #1 TE John Davis - 6'5" 222 lbs - Ruleville MS - ovr rk: 2 - receiving rk: 1 - blocking rk: 15
    B SPD/ C+ AGI/ B- AWR/ B- STA/ B INJ/ C STR/ B- BTK/ B+ CTH/ B- RTE/ C+ CIT/ B- REL/ D+ IBL/ D RBK/ D+ RBS/ C- RBF/ D PBK/ D+ PBS/ C- PBF/
A beast of a receiving TE, Davis will probably have to wait for playing time behind the current starter, a redshirt freshman. But he will eventually be a stud.

    :4stars: #3 G Cory Berry - 6'2" 302 lbs - Macomb IL - ovr rk: 4 - run block rk: 4 - pass block rk: 4
    C- SPD/ C AGI/ D- AWR/ D+ STA/ B- INJ/ B- STR/ C+ IBL/ C+ RBK/ B RBS/ B RBF/ C+ PBK/ B- PBS/ B- PBF/
We signed some guys that we think are excellent players last year and now we want to continue to add one a year at G and T, Berry is a real solid player

    :4stars: #1 DT David Williams - 6'3" 277 lbs - Boca Raton FL - ovr rk: 4 - speed rush rk: 6 - power rush rk: 3
    D- SPD/ D- AGI/ D- AWR/ B STA/ B INJ/ B STR/ C- JMP/ C+ TAK/ B- PMV/ B- FMV/ B- BSH/ B- PUR/ C+ HPW/ D- ZCV/
Wish I could say I thought he was the best in the nation at DT, I think he's very good though. We were happy to outlast Penn State thanks to a timely X2.

    :4stars: #6 OLB Brent Richardson - 6'1" 203 lbs - Candler-McAfee GA - ovr rk: 6 - run stopper rk: 6 - coverage rk: 7
    B SPD/ C- AGI/ D- AWR/ B STA/ B INJ/ C+ STR/ D CTH/ B- JMP/ C+ TAK/ C PRC/ C+ PMV/ C+ FMV/ C+ BSH/ B- PUR/ B HPW/ PRS/ D+ ZCV/ D MCV/
This guy was signed almost solely to keep the Georgia pipeline alive. We have a decision to make... Drop Georgia and the trash we seem to recruit from that state, or keep an undersized player (and worse players we already signed) to keep recruiting strong in that state.

    :4stars: #9 SS Brock Strong - 6'6" 194 lbs - West Point MS - ovr rk: 10 - coverage rk: 12 - hard hitter rk: 9
    B+ SPD/ B ACC/ B AGI/ D- AWR/ C+ STA/ B INJ/ D+ STR/ C CTH/ B+ JMP/ B- TAK/ C PRC/ C BSH/ C+ PUR/ C+ HPW/ C PRS/ C+ ZCV/ C MCV/
We seem to be picking up a lot of tall players. Strong is solid but his height his is best attribute by far. May not make the squad.

    -

    Locks to Sign Later

    :4stars: #2 QB Terrence Robbins - 6'5" 208 lbs - Wolf Trap VA - ovr rk: 3 - pocket rk: 10 - scrambler rk: 3
    B+ SPD/ C+ AGI/ D+ AWR/ B+ STA/ B+ INJ/ B THP/ C+ THA/ C+ BTK/ B ELU/ D TRK/ D- CAR/
920-point lead... It turned out to be a good idea to to after both of the top QB's, as we still had a seat left when the music stopped and TCU insta-committed #1 QB Armstrong. The key thing for us is his height, we never seem to be able to sign the tall guys.

    :5stars: #1 WR Thomas Reid - 5'11" 208 lbs - Tarboro NC - ovr rk: 1 - speed rk: 1 - possession rk: 1
    B+ SPD/ B AGI/ D AWR/ B- STA/ B- INJ/ C- BTK/ D- ELU/ A- CAR/ D- SFA/ C- SPM/ D+ JKM/ B- CTH/ B RTE/ C+ CIT/ B- SPC/ C+ JMP/ B- REL/
900-point lead... Even though he doesn't have dynamic speed, we think he will be a monster.....

    :4stars: #6 TE Allen Johnson - 6'3" 247 lbs - Greenville MS - ovr rk: 12 - receiving rk: 5 - blocking rk: 57
    B- SPD/ C AGI/ C AWR/ B- STA/ B- INJ/ C- STR/ C+ BTK/ B- CTH/ C+ RTE/ C CIT/ C+ REL/ D IBL/ D RBK/ D+ RBS/ D+ RBF/ D PBK/ D PBS/ D PBF/
580-point lead... We may not need him... He may end up getting cut. Since he is in-state, we'll try to find a spot for him.

    :4stars: #6 T Travis Heard - 6'4" 296 lbs - Valley Falls RI - ovr rk: 3 - run block rk: 3 - pass block rk: 3
    D SPD/ D- AGI/ D AWR/ D STA/ B+ INJ/ B STR/ C- IBL/ C+ RBK/ B- RBS/ B- RBF/ C+ PBK/ C+ PBS/ B- PBF/
Soft commit... In a very bad class for tackles, we'll be glad if we can get him signed up.

    :4stars: #3 SS Bernard Hardy - 6'5" 203 lbs - Gladeview FL - ovr rk: 4 - coverage rk: 7 - hard hitter rk: 2
    B SPD/ B ACC/ C AGI/ D- AWR/ C+ STA/ B INJ/ C STR/ C CTH/ C+ JMP/ C+ TAK/ C+ PRC/ C+ BSH/ B PUR/ B+ HPW/ B- PRS/ B+ ZCV/ B- MCV/
    Big and a hard hitter.

I too was in on Edwards but couldn't land him after an official visit. Mike Allen I got too far behind on PSU who signed him so I wouldn't get him. And USC grabbed a MLB which is a need for us.

We did sign a pure pass rushing end in Paul Edwards and beau Hawkins at T was a big need as we continue to replenish the offensive line.

PSU is pretty much set for 2-3 years as long as there is not a mass exodus of sophomores and juniors this year.

    I should do a Preview

    Oregon State 2015 Recruits

    1 - :5stars: #6 WR Nick Watkins - 6'4" 209 lbs - Redondo Beach, CA
Big WR with pretty good speed and great acceleration. Good route running ability. Needs to work on his hands a little bit. Might be able to jump into a starting spot next year. In a couple years Watkins should be a playmaker.

    2 - :4stars:#14 DT Greg Herron - 5'11" 295 lbs - Troutdale, OR
Great quickness and speed for a DT. Needs to work on getting stronger. Good power moves and above average finesse moves and block shedding. Good all-around DT who should be a force in a couple years.

    :4stars:OLB(#3) PAUL COBB, 6'1", 220lbs, Lewistown, MD
    KEY RATINGS- A ACCEL/ B+ PURSUIT/ B SPEED, TACKLE/ B- HIT POWER, STRENGTH, JUMPING
---Talk about an elite athlete for the OLB spot, Paul Cobb fits that to a T. He has amazing acceleration (key component for our recruits) but is just a stud in the areas you want him to be. He hits hard, has speed and is a great tackler. We've been bringing in excellent LB prospects lately and Cobb is the next stud that fits our scheme.

    :4stars:DE(#2) PAUL EDWARDS, 6'3", 252lbs, Pasadena, TX
KEY RATINGS- B+ ACCEL, PURSUIT/ B SPEED, FINESSE MOVES, HIT POWER/ B- TACKLE/ C+ POWER MOVES, BLOCK SHEDDING
---We've been fortunate to get some athletic defensive ends during my tenure at Nebraska unlike Rutgers where I was just getting solid road graters. Edwards is a kid who's going to be a future #1 round pick. He can do it all on the field just name it. IT's why he's #2 at DE and surely a top 20 prospect in the nation.

:4stars:T(#7) BEAU HAWKINS, 6'4", 291lbs, Sioux Center, IA
KEY RATINGS- B+ ACCEL/ B- STRENGTH, RUN BLOCK FOOTWORK, PASS BLOCK FOOTWORK
---As Kerploomp stated earlier, this is a down year in the tackle spot. Hawkins is no doubt a solid T but he's more of the RT variety. He's not a super stud but he's just solid in all areas, jack of all trades if you will. A few years he will be starting here. He clearly has talent especially with his decent strength and solid footwork passing and running wise.

:5stars:ATH(#4) BRYCE ARNOLD, 5'11", 192lbbs, Temple Terrace, FL
    KEY RATINGS- A ACCEL/ A- SPEED/ B+ PLAY RECOGNITION, ZONE COVERAGE/ B- MAN COVERAGE
---We didn't need much secondary help but the talent pool is ridiculous. We grabbed this athlete, Bryce Arnold, who's an excellent CB. Good speed, excellent acceleration and what we love...play recognition...he's not going to bite on PA pass, he's a heady player already. Exciting to grab players from the Florida pipeline.

:4stars:ATH(#12) TERRENCE CHARLES, 5'11", 190lbs, Bonnie Doone, NC
    KEY RATINGS- A SPEED/ A- ACCEL, AGILITY
---We were glad to pry this kid away from Ole Miss's greedy hands as he will fit in our backfield almost immediately. With a need of a scat back much like Trey Smith, Terrence Charles fits that mold. Actually he reminds us more of Aaron Green with similar size and track speed.
