    Let's start hashing out teams.

Based on what I've heard and read about scheduling in online association, it's advanced in blocks of times with no control really over when the advance happens beyond how fast you want to advance. Combine that with the fact that we want this to be a simulation style league where a number of each teams games will be simulated, in order to move through things quicker, and everyone will need to be ok with simming some user games if both parties can't get together on a time. It will happen, but if we are all ok with some simmed games here and there, this should still be a great league. Bondzai007, RynoAid and I still need to hash out the details on the number of total games to be played and what they schedule speed will be, and we hope to have some information on that next week after some testing with the new online association mode.

With that in mind, my idea of segregating the users into different conferences may not really matter, since everyone will have some games simmed anyways.

Here is where we are at with teams based on information to date:

    Rynoaid - Dallas
    Dru50 - Golden State
    Bondzai007 - Orlando

The joys of being in charge - we get first dibs.(y)

    BDSDIGITAL - CLE, BOS, NYK
JFace907 - CLE, PHO, MIN, IND
Mike E - OKC, CLE, CHI, NYK
    ryalaman - MEM, WAS, MIA
    bucsfan047 - LAL, PHO, POR
    makinpropel - BOS, NYK, IND
    recchem2000 - LAL, LAC
    gowazzucougs - POR, DEN, NO
Papa Perry - CHI, NJN, WAS
Danthraxxx - CLE, PHI, BOS, LAC, POR

As you can see, several of you want the same teams, so we may have to have a battle royal or something to work this out.

Here is how I would split out the teams:

    BDS - CLE
    JFace - PHO
    Mike E - OKC
    Ryalaman - MEM
    Bucsfan - LAL
    Makinpropel - BOS
    Recchem - LAC
    Cougs - POR
    Perry - CHI
    Dan - PHI

    Start the discussions rolling.....

EDIT - After some discussions this looks like the team roster (will be updated as situations change):

    Western Conference
    Rynoaid - Dallas Mavericks
    Dru50 - Golden State Warriors/Utah Jazz/LA Clippers
    Bucsfan - LA Lakers/Phoenix Suns
    Recchem - LA Lakers/LA Clippers
    Gowazzucougs - Portland Trail Blazers
    JFace - Sacramento Kings
Mike E - Oklahoma City Thunder

    Eastern Conference
    Bondzai - Orlando Magic
Papa Perry - Chicago Bulls/Atlanta Hawks
    Makinpropel - Boston Celtics
    BDS - Cleveland Browns
    Danthraxx - Philadelphia 76ers
    Ryalaman - Washington Wizards

Which is even crazier that they still want the Cavs even though he's not there.

And without the rookies no less.

I'm looking forward to running with the Warriors. They have 5-6 guys with 75+ 3 point shooting. Nellie-ball is coming back to No-Cal, time for a lot of bad shot selection and not much defense!

I'm sending Malik Allen in for 2 minutes just to take Curry's legs out from under him.

Well in the defense of two of them, one is lives in Ohio, the other has been raised Cleveland fan all his life. I have no idea why BDS would want to touch them. I personally wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole, of course I wouldn't touch The Team That Shall Not Be Named with a 100 foot pole even if you paid me a billion dollars.

I'm ok with the Bulls for now. I need to run with them some. If acceptable I may request to go back to my ol' ATL stomping grounds of last year.

its greatness! Raised in Ohio myself and allow me to say, there is poison in the water there. Why else would we still root for our shitty (but sometimes loveable) teams?

Glad to get OKC if this works out...I will be proud to run the Oklahoma franchise directly into the ground...

Ya know what, i want to completely change my list. I'm ok with Brian getting the Cavs since he's a player on the East Coast. Can i put Sacramento at the top of my list? So it would look like SAC, PHX, MIN, IND...

I may need a better team than the Clippers...I really have no clue how to play this game yet. Gonna try and get a few games in tonight with some different teams to see what works for me.

Talk to bucsfan047 and see if he'd be ok with you using the lakers. But as Bond said, the clips have a really nice team with two good young players in SG Eric Gordon and PF Blake Griffin.

You are not going to believe me, but the Clippers really are not that bad. You have Blake Griffin, Eric Gordon, Eric Bledsoe, Chris Kaman. You also have Mo Williams. The first 5-7 guys are not that bad. Dru50 tell recchem the Clips are not that bad.

The kid from Wake, Aminu or whatever his name is, is a great young player as well. With this being an actual association, i can easily see their core of youth progressing nicely season after season.
