    Michigan Dominates at Northwestern
The Game started slow for Michigan, giving up an opening drive touchdown to Northwestern. After a quick 3 and out Michigan was back on its heels again as Northwestern drove down the field to the 8 yard line. As NW Ab Alphonso Hudson rolled out to the left he made a bad decision to pitch the ball on the option and Ben Miller was there for the Wolverines to intercept the lateral and take the ball back 92 yards for a TD. After that the route was on as Michigan rolled up over 300 yards passing and 100 yards rushing on their way to a 54-14 win.
    Michigan:
    Trey Clark: 17-30, 352 yards, 4 TD's, 1 Rush, 16 yards

    Purdue No Match for Michigan
    52 - 0
This game was over before it began. The Boilermakers opened the game on offense and made it to the Michigan 20 yard line. Purdue failed to convert a 4th down and the rout was on. In a span of 2:49 to end the 1st quarter Michigan scored 5 touchdowns to end the quarter up 35-0. It started with a long drive capped off by a 8 yard TD pass. After a quick 3 and out by Purdue, Michigan hit a 54 yard TD pass to Byers followed by a Purdue turnover and a 4 yard TD rush by Miller. Purdue's offense finished the game quickly however by throw a pick 6 and then having a fumble returned for a TD. In the 2nd quarter Michigan's defense added a safety to the board. The rest of the game was a whole lot of the Michigan ground game and kicker Brad Sapp who went 5-5 in FG's.

    Not so fighting Illini
    Michigan wins 52-7
The game started slow for both teams. Eventually Michigan's Miller was able to bust off a 19 yard rushing TD with 4 min left the in 1st quarter. Michigan kicker Brad Sapp, who was 5 for 5 last week, was able to add a 42 yard FG early in the 2nd. Illinois responded with a long TD drive and it was close at 10-7. Michigan took off from that point, scoring 4 touchdowns in the final 5:14 of the 2nd quarter to go into half time up 31-7.
The Wolverines came out and took the 2nd half kickoff down field for another TD and the game was over. The rest of the game saw some backups getting playing time as a few starters were banged up early and there was no reason to rush them back into the game.

Minnesota Blanked in the Big House

    44-0
Michigan QB Trey Clark continues his efficient season by shredding the Minnesota Defense throwing 20-22 for 259 Yards and 3 TD's. The Michigan defense, which was ranked number one in the country before this game, only solidified their grasp on that ranking by allowing a mere 93 yards of total offense to the Minnesota offense.
Minnesota started the game with the ball but could do little before punting away. Michigan was able to respond with a touchdown to go up 7-0 early. Michigan added 21 points in the 2nd quarter to take a 28-0 lead into half time. The 2nd half was mostly ground and pound by the big uglies on the Wolverines front line.

    QB - Trey Clark: 20-22, 259 Yards, 3 TD's
    RB - Sean Miller: 24 Carries, 154 yards, 2 TD's
    WR - Korey Durbin: 7 Rec, 104 yards, 2 TD's

    QB - Morris Richard: 8-13, 57 yards
RB - Don Weeks: 15 Carries, 35 Yards
WR - Brandon Mullins: 2 Rec, 33 Yards

Battle of Michigan goes to the Wolverines
This game started out as a tight one. MSU was able to drive down the field twice early but had to settle for field goals both times, which is not something you can afford to do against a Wolverine defense that is one of the best in the country. Michigan was able to answer with a 39 yard touchdown pass with 28 seconds left in the 1st quarter and Michigan never looked back.
The rest of the game was a combination of big plays, steady running and a dominating defense that we have come to expect from the Wolverines this season.
Next week will be a huge match-up for the Wolverines as they prepare to play against #2 Wisconsin.

    QB Trey Clark: 12-22, 280 Yards, 3 TD's
RB Sean Miller: 14 Carries, 76 Yards
    WR Justin Patrick: 4 Rec, 150 yards, 2 TD's
    [IMG]
    QB Mclaurin: 15-23, 218 yards
RB Frank: 22 Carries, 60 yards
WR Barr: 5 Rec, 100 Yards

    Wolverines Dominate in Wisconsin
    56-7
Wow, just when the Badgers thought it couldn't get any worse. Last week Wisconsin was taken apart by Heisman hopeful Joe Harrell who threw for over 400 yards in a 48-14 victory. This week, following the Ohio State blueprint, Michigan came out throwing early and often. Junior QB Trey Clark was over 300 yards by halftime as Michigan was out to a 35-7 lead. The only positive in the game for Wisconsin was the 68 yard fumble return by FS Bruce Russell that set up a short TD pass for the Badgers.
Coming into the game we knew Michigan's top ranked defense would prove tough to play against, especially for a Freshman QB, but no one saw this coming. The Badgers ran the ball 18 times for a net loss of 2 yards overall. The passing game didn't exactly fare well either, with only 106 yards.
Next week is the showdown all fans of Big Blue have been waiting for as the number one team in the country, the Buckeyes of Ohio State, come to the Big House in the game that will decide the Big Ten Conference Champion.
    QB Trey Clark: 23-31, 367 Yards, 3 TD's
    RB Sean Miller: 19 Carries, 130 Yards, 3 TD's
WR Art Allen: 4 Rec, 76 Yards
    [IMG]
QB Van Smith: 13-25, 106 Yards, 1 TD
RB: Antonio Stewart: 13 Carries, 11 Yards
WR Jonathan Graham: 5 rec, 82 Yards, 1 TD
