Fresh off his Mega Championship Coach Gaddy went back to his hotel with his bottle of Moet and reviewed game footage of the Colts. Gaddy "This team has good speed in Ginn and Randle El. You also have to keep a eye on Clark as he is a good target against slow Linebackers. We are definitely going to have our hands full with this one."

What Gaddy faces is putting his young secondary against some the leagues fastest receivers that the Colts have. A challenge that the Darius Butler said he is ready for "Bledsoe did a good job preparing us for this game but now that Gaddy is coming back we will get the full detail of what we have to do to be successful. I know I and the rest of the defense are looking forward to the challenge that the Colts present.

The Colts offense is only part of the worries the Patriots have, Brady was said to had reviewed footage on the Colts defense and left the room scratching his head. We caught up with him with his wife as they were leaving the hotel to eat in a downtown Indianapolis restaurant.

Brady, They pose a lot of problems with there speed off the edges. They have quickness at each position and Sanders and Brackett hold it all together. When as about Freeney position change to linebacker Brady said "I wish they would put Mathis back there too because that would be less pressure coming off the ends. This will be one of my toughest challenges as of right now we have no clue how we want to attack them. Luckily Gaddy is back tomorrow and the full gameplan will be revealed. Gisele blurted out "My baby will do just fine."

Sunday Night's game for the Patriots is big in every way. They want to establish themselves as a elite team and also keep pace with the Bills who just lost to the Titans earlier today. A win and OMFL owners around the league will highlight Pats name as a team to take serious. A lost and the Patriots have some more regrouping to do and will enter a crowded Wild Card race in the AFC which they don't want to be a part of.

As temperatures drops in New England heat continues to rise for Gaddy and Moss.

    Boston Globe.

Fans are not happy right now with the play of Moss and the coaching of Gaddy. After coming off a big win vs the Colts and Jets the thought was that the Patriots were to roll past the Saints which was not the case as they lost 35-28 and Brady throwing 4 picks. The defense which has been outstanding gave up 14 points in the final quarter coming off turnovers by Brady. Fans and critics are saying why didn't Gaddy run more after they got the lead, why didnt they blitz more to Brees? Then there's the question about the offensive direction and the drastic mid-season change. Why did Gaddy switch offensive styles from the first 3 weeks to now when clearly the original offense was the best. It was quite evident that the Patriots were clearly not clicking on all cylinders in there last couple games but their defense was getting them the wins.

Now what about Randy Moss who has been all but consistent in this regular season. He just cannot seem to get that break out game. He has also dropped several catches that he normally makes. Rumors before the trade deadline had the Patriots trying to get Brandon Marshall for Moss. Reason was because some questions Moss's toughness. Does he have what it takes to be an elite receiver anymore? Patriots owner mention that the goal of the Patriots is to win the Super Bowl and coming up short of that is not acceptable. He also noted that he would address any changes that need to be made in the offseason and that nobody is safe from top to bottom.

Could this be the end for Coach Gaddy and Randy Moss only time will tell.

Offensive coordinator Drew Bledsoe and the New England offense going back to original formula.

    Boston Globe

After starting out the gates early in the season with Brady putting up MVP like numbers the offense took a major dip when the style of play was changed. Brady has not been the only player affected by the new system as Randy Moss numbers dropped as well in fact Moss has not had a 100 yard receiving game since the change before that he had 3 in his first 4 games. Bledsoe and Gaddy knew there were some risk in getting the new offense together but didn’t expect the production to take a loss like it has. The idea behind the new offensive system was to get players like Welker and Galloway involved more. Now besides the offensive woes the Patriots have still been winning but clearly its not as fluid as they like. With all that said offensive coordinator Drew Bledsoe announce today that the Patriots will be going back to the original offense and scrapping the new system. Bledsoe "We feel its best now to scrap the plan of installing a new offense and run what we know. This is the time when we need to get hot going into the playoffs so hopefully we make a smooth transition and start out of the gates fast again."

First four games of the season
    Brady 1527 yards 11 Touchdowns 3 interceptions
Moss 20 receptions 419 yards receiving 4 touchdowns

    since

    Brady 1692 yards 12 Touchdowns 15 interceptions
Moss 23 receptions 390 yards receiving 4 touchdowns

Earlier reports that Tom Brady would not be under center this year were not quite accurate. If the Patriots can somehow manage to get to the AFC Conference championship Tom Brady would be eligible to return. This is slight glimmer of hope for the Patriots but it will require a lot of hard work. They will desperately need to generate offense from their young rookie or free agent QB. If the defense can play lights out till then and the offense can generate some points then Tom Brady in the Conference Championship could be a reality.

Patriots turn to Walter to take over the offense.

    Boston Globe

Patriots brought in two Quarterbacks after the Dolphins game for workouts. After a long drawn out process Coach Gaddy has decided to go with Andrew Walter to start when the Patriots host the Panthers this week. Walter beat out Matt Gutierrez and rookie Brad Hoyer for the starting job. Hoyer will be the 2nd string QB while Gutierrez will be the 3rd string QB.

Walter as seen above with Brady, Gutierrez and Hoyer was on the Patriots roster during training camp but then was cut due to poor performance. Walter says that he has taken his release for extra motivation to get better. Bledsoe stated that he will not change the offense much but make it easier for Walter to make his reads but will keep its explosive nature. They are also hoping the the running game can help as well in balancing the offensive attack over the next couple weeks. Walter knows that the task that is ahead will be difficult but he has a great supporting cast around him to help him along the way.

Brady throws, Rehab ahead of schedule.

Early reports out of Tampa where Tom Brady is going threw rehab on his broken forearm are positive so far. Brady was seen doing some light throwing mostly short routes but said afterwards that there was still soreness and some swelling. Brady who said he will continue his rehab in Tampa until the postseason starts which at that point he will fly with there team as they prepare for their playoff opponent. When asked about Andrew Walter the QB who Pats signed to replace Brady while he is out, Brady "I think Andrew has done a fanstactic job with the amount of pressure he has been under. He had a big wins vs the Panthers and Bills and a tough loss vs the Jags. In all he has done what we need him to do. The next step will be to win in the playoffs and that will take a collective effort from everybody on the team. I think we will be just fine in two weeks. We are well coached and well prepared."

Patriots clinch AFC East Title now focus shifts towards the playoffs.

Stadium crew member Kale Henley paints finishing touches on the NFL playoff logo at mid-field on Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., in preparation for NFL playoff football game between the New England Patriots and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

After celebrating their 1st OMFL AFC East Division title after the Bills lost the Patriots shift their focus to Jaguars and the playoffs ahead. Coach Gaddy said that everything you seen in the regular season your can forget cause the playoffs bring a new type of gameplay. Meriweather "The game is going to be at a faster pace so you have to make your reads quicker and react to the ball faster than you would have during the regular season. In the playoffs you cannot make the mental mistakes on the field you have to be on the top of your game."

Critics know that one thing for sure the Patriots defense will be at full strength come playoff time but everybody is concerned with the offense and the journeyman QB Andrew Walter. Walter went 3-1 since replacing Brady and the offense seemed to not skip a beat but a closer looks at the stat sheet shows that it is the running game that is playing at a high level. The running backs of the Patriots have help take the pressure off Walter so he doesn’t have to force the action himself. They have been able to break broke long gains which have also controlled the clock the two things they will need come playoff time.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady leads a drill during practice at the NFL football team's facility in Foxborough, Mass

Early reports show that Brady's forearm is healing and he is able to throw but there still is some pain there so the return of Brady will not happen unless the Patriots make it to the conference championship. Walter ""The defense have been playing excellent ball during this close of the season and the running game on offense has been a big help is getting me comfortable when I have to go to the air. I think if we maintain the level of play we are at now we can get the to Super Bowl." Their first test will be against a Jacksonville team that beat them 27-17 in the regular season. Moss was a beast that game catching 7 balls for 146 yards but also the defense did an excellent job in containing MJD to 46 yards rushing. They will need that same effort in beating a Jacksonville team that is on a emotional high right now. If the Patriots defense plays lights out again and the offense is balance the Patriots will most likely be flying out to San Diego for the Divisional round. As fans that what we what to see on Sunday anyway.

Patriots send four players to the OMFL Pro Bowl.

    Foxboxo, MA

Patriots will dress 4 players in the OMFL Pro Bowl and 3 are coming from the defensive side of the ball. A defense that was considered too young and lack the experience to play in the big league has 2 of there promising young stars headed to Hawaii. Jerod Mayo and Brandon Meriweather will join Ty Warren and lone offensive pro bowler Randy Moss this year. Mayo lead the league in Interceptions with 13 and also did he share in LB duties. Coaches were surprised that a LB would lead the league in Interceptions over a DB but it happen and Meriweather was a close 2nd on the team with nine. Mayo "Coaches just always seemed to put us in a position to make plays. Also having Brandon back there to back me up at times also helps. We all can cherish the honor of being acknowledged for our success this season but its all personal glory and I rather have team glory. Next season our goal will be clear and that is to have success as a team."
