The teams went back and forth for the remainder of the first half, and entered the locker rooms with Texas up 21-20. The second half was all Ohio State. They dominated defensively and did not give up a single point. The Offense improved upon their first half performance by scoring 22 points to put the game away and were successful in running out the clock. Whitaker had another good game offensively, tallying up 152 yards on the ground. Chaz Hines showed great accuracy, and only really made that one mistake that resulted in an interception. After not recording a catch in Week 1, Rodney Baker caught 5 passes for 135 yards and a TD, including a 79 yard catch. Next week the Buckeyes have a bye.
