    ~The Buffalo Bills Voice~

    Retirements:

The Bills cannot enter the Pre-Season without acknowledging the unexpected retirement of two fan favorite Buffalo Bills players. HB Michael Turner and HB Fred Jackson retired and ended their productive NFL careers. Management had been known to appreciate the play of both players. In particular the Free Agent pickup of Michael Turner proved to be a very good signing. Management of the Bills are familiar and fond of all current and former Atlanta Falcons players as they have an extensive history with the storied franchise of the Atlanta Falcons. Michael Turner was brought into Buffalo to provide the extra push on 3rd downs, and he did exactly that. He also averaged over 5 yds. a carry during his Bill tenure. In an ironic twist of fate...Turner will again be replaced by Steven Jackson. Free Agent Steven Jackson will be with the Bills and take over the short yardage role left vacant by Turner's retirement.

    Free Agent Acquisitions:

RT Tyson Clabo - 88 Overall

The Buffalo Bills have a problem on the offensive line and need some talent and veteran leadership. Tyson Clabo comes over via the Falcons and then Dolphins. The Front Office of Buffalo are very familiar with this offensive tackle, and were excited to have a chance to bid for his services. We expect him to be the starting right tackle until he retires.

RG Jason Spitz - 84 Overall

The Bills were looking to acquire at least one accomplished guard. The Bills are happy to bring in Jason Spitz to add some veteran leadership to the guard position.

HB Steven Jackson - 84 Overall

Another former Falcon finds his way into the fold. The Buffalo Brass were elated to sign Steven Jackson, his history speaks for itself. This running back greats to bring in his large skill set, and fight for extra yards. He is also known to be a skilled pass catcher. Steven Jackson is the perfect compliment to HB CJ Spiller.

CB Robert McClain - 76 Overall

Yup...another, another former Falcon player is a Bill. Robert McClain was added to provide depth to the cornerback squad in Buffalo. They have always admired his skills, and are happy to have him onboard.

The Bills also made Free Agent offers to the following candidates:

    DT Jonathan Babineaux
    FB Patrick Dimarco
    OG Harvey Dahl
    TE Ed Dickson
    LOLB James Anderson

You made a mistake...but we wish you the best. Class Class Class.

MEET THE BILLS FIRST ROUND DRAFT CLASS:

    1. WR Nelson Akinwande

The Bills were lacking a dynamic WR for young EJ Manuel to grow with and target. Bills Management were delighted to bring this talented WR from the University of Central Florida to the ball club. If you pick a WR in the top 5, he is expected to make an impact immediately. This is no different. Akinwande understands that he is being brought in to catch balls and put up points. We are excited about his long future with the Bills.

    2. CB Luhata Senatus

The Bills were heavily rumored to be smitten with MLB Royster, but he was selected before the Bills selected with the tenth pick. The Bills decided to bolster the defensive side of the ball, but at CB not LB. The Bills selected Luhata Senatus out of Iowa State who was the #1 CB on their draft board. He will step right into the #2 Cornerback spot opposite the young and extremely talented Stephon Gilmore. The Bills have bolstered their defensive backs core and believe that Senatus will have an impact on the team immediately.

    3. LOLB Steele Grable

With the 31st pick in the NFL Draft, the Bills selected LOLB Steele Grable. His 240 lb. frame provides a stout presence on the defensive side of the ball. The Bills have one starting linebacker position up for grabs this off-season. OLB Sean Weatherspoon and MLB Nigel Bradham are entrenched as the starting ROLB and MLB respectively. Steele Grable was known in college for his innate ability to tackle and his ratings reflect that. Grable will be in a preseason battle with Fleury another rookie LB competing for the position. Welcome to the Bills, "Blue Steele" Grable.
