    We have advanced!

    Advance Schedule:
    -When 10/10 are ready or
    -Wednesday, 3:30pm EST

    Week Notes:
-Weave begins run through Sun Belt with victory
-Mullen cheats and pounds Goose... both sad and gross
-Bulldog loses to a horrid Pitt team who will be leaving for the ACC next season... yippee. Pitt and Syracuse. Just when I thought the ACC couldn't get worse at football we accept these two turds.
-Rick is figuring the game out. If he actually starts winning big, can the approval rate climb above 100%?
-Goose's cousin is not good. Perfect gramps replacement.
-UNLV will win a national championship under Coach Hale one day. That's a guarantee.

Fun fact - this is my 5th straight road game to open season. Won't play my home opener until next week.

    OWLS WIN IN FINAL MINUTE...AGAIN

If FAU is anything, they are damn fun to watch. After nearly coming back and knocking off Michigan State and Auburn in the final minute, the Owls broke through a week ago to upend the ULL Ragin Cajuns with a touchdown with 10 seconds remaining. The Owls returned for an encore on Saturday in Denton, Texas. They beat North Texas 35-31 on a 25 yard td run with 50 seconds to go.

Down 24-7 at the half, the Owls were searching. They turned the ball over an astonishing 5 times. Kooi threw 3 picks and fumbled twice. Coach Weaver did not hesitate to go right back to his freshman quarterback who lost the job earlier in the year. The freshman qb came through. He threw it for 133 with no picks, but almost more importantly he ran it for 39 yards to open up the defense. The story was Alfred Morris. The hb ran it 20 times for 163 and 4 tds.

After 5 straight road games, including the last 4 heart attack inducing games, the Owls finally get to play in front of the home crowd.

Odds are you'll get your money's worth if you show up.

Toledo wins a slugfest against EMU. In a game that had practically no offense in the second half, the overall talent over Toledo proved to much for the Eagles. With the score tied at 7 heading into the second half, QB A. Dantin finally found his star WR for the big play, a 52 yard bomb. Dantin had three throwing TD's on the day, as Star RB Adonis Thomas was held in check all day by a swarming EMU front 7.

In all seriousness, if Plague ever gets a good team...he is going to be good. Like Weave good

A great and enjoyable game Mully. I'm on a one year contract here with EMU. Hopefully they welcome me back so I can get another crack at ya.

I think I'm going to get fired because I suck. Hellen Keller could play better than me right now.

You islanders are all the same. In your little box of an island with no idea what is going on in the mainland.

JT the Brick is a national sports radio talk show host.

Goose I've been a clone for close to ten years. Remember I drive a truck for a living. All I got is sports talk to keep me sane.

My game will be done in the next hour to hour 1/2.

***How bout them Titans! We played like shit week 1 and then stomped on the Ravens from the opening snap. Got Britt in both fantasy leagues in the 7th round range. How is everybody else fantasy teams doing ?
