Am I throwing this route wrong? I threw five picks on this route yesterday (Yes I should have stopped throwing it). It seems like the receiver is wide open or at least has his man beat, but Brady under throws it every time. Has anyone had success with this route.

Figured we need to help each other get better, so Curtis, help me out! This is meant as a discussion :)

Stop pressing down when throwing it? Instead press up and aim towards the sideline. More touch maybe? I don't know why im helping someone who has the potential to knock me out of the playoffs....Lol.

I rarely throw an INT on the corner route but I tend to put too much touch on it where its just out of the reach of my WR on the sideline.

I went into practice mode against... The Jets and their All-God-Madden status... I completed 1 of 10 consistently with a big receiver and if I didn't pass lead up it was picked off every time.

On a side note if the receiver is a midget aka Welker he never caught a pass.

From my experience, its a timing route with touch. You have to let the ball go on their cut and drop it over their shoulders. Much easier to do with a big receiver. If you throw it on a line the cornerback has a much better chance making a play on the ball.
