The Cowboys secondary played exceptional allowing only 45 yards through the air.

The #9 Oklahoma State Cowboys (2-0,0-0) built some steam after defeating SEC powerhouse Georgia and brough it into Houston, defeating the Cougars. The Cowboys defense showed up once again as they were almost able to produce shutouts in back to back games. The Cowboys started slow on offense but was able to gain some steam going into halftime and never looked back.

The OSU offense was once again led by the very impressive tandem RB core of Kendall Hunter and Keith Totson who combined for a 229 yards on the ground with 36 carries and 1 TD. Leading the was Toston with 117 yards on 21 carries. SR QB Zac Robinson once again connected with Dez Bryant for a 48 yard touchdown but only competed 6-11 with 131 yards in the air.

The Cowboys defense was led by MLB Levine who had 10 tackles and 1 TFL. OSU was able to hold Houston to 192 total yards of offense with an amazing -8 rushing yards. Houston QB Case Keenum had a solid day going 22-29 with 200 yards passing and 1 TD.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys will get to travel back home to play down south rival Rice in Stillwater on September 19th. Rice with a 0-1 record looks to upset OSU, while the Cowboys will try to remain perfect.

The #4 Oklahoma State Cowboys had a tough battle against the #18 Missouri Tigers. Both teams played consistent on offense and defense. Missouri drove down the field continuously and were coached very well. The only difference in this game was turnovers. Missouri threw 3 interceptions which all led to points. Without those turnovers it would have been a tie ball game.

The #3 Oklahoma State Cowboys had an absolute battle with the Baylor Bears. This was an incredible game that consisted of a trade off of scores and finally ended on a last second FG. Each team was working in sync, unable to stop eachother or driving seemingly easily. Everyone in the stadium was on the edge of their seats, knowing that the winner might be he who has the ball last. Oklahoma State was able to force Baylor to punt on their 30 yard line with 2 mins left in the game, which ultimately led to the win. Oklahoma State made two huge plays that enabled them to win. On fourth and long Zac Robinson hit James Blackmon on a deep fade when they were down 17-10. If they did not complete that play Baylor would have the ball and lead late in the third quarter.
