    The Tale Of Two Quarterbacks

    Aaron Murray

Murray received 53 scholarship offers and during his senior season he completed 118 of 195 passes for 2,285 yards and 33 touchedowns with five interceptions. The senior rushed for 257 yards on 26 carries with two touchdowns.

Murray was named Hillsborough co-offensive player of the year along with teammate and favorite target, wide receiver Orson Charles. Voted All-Suncoast First Team. He was also voted the 4A Player of the Year therefore making him a finalist and leading contender for Florida's Mr. Football of 2008. Murray was named Parade All-American, Orlando Sentinel's All-Southern Top 12 Players SE, Pess Register's Super Southeast 120 (#10), FSWA All-State, First Team QB.

He was a Parade Magazine All-American, was rated the No. 3 quarterback prospect in the nation by Scout.com and was MVP of the prestigious Elite 11 camp for the nation’s top high school quarterbacks. He became a near legend in Florida prep circles by returning early from a dislocated ankle and broken fibula to lead his Plant High team to a state championship in 2008. He was Redshirted His first seasoon on campus, but most Georgia insiders thought he could of started last year, if Coach Richt wasnt loyal to his 5th year QB in Cox. Named the #1 QB comming out of Spring Practice. Was Handed the Job by Coach Richt. Most Feel the #2 Guy had the better Spring. Let me Introduce that guy.

    Logan Gray

Gray committed to play for Georgia over Florida, Auburn and late-charging Missouri. Was In the Same QB Class with Jimmy Clausen, Ryan Mallett, Tyrod Taylor, John Brantley, and Kellen Moore. He has decent size, good speed and is a dangerous runner and passer. Gray has good arm strength and is very accurate, especially on the short and intermediate routes. Gray makes good decisions with the ball and shows good fundamentals as well. When things do break down he has the athletic ability to make a play. He can buy some time with his vision and quickness and locate a receiver down field or tuck it and run. Logan has played many positions for UGA since being here, all in an attempt to get him on the field. He has returned Punts, played Slot WR, and even played mop up duty at QB some last season. In that Limited Time he struggled at QB so most feel he didnt get a fair chance this spring. Eventhough Gray played lightyears ahead of Murray. He wanted to Transfer but was convinced to stay.

New Appointed AD Bamaboiking who is a very hands on Athletic Director Says he will let Richt run his program the way he likes but will give "advice" where he see's fit. AD Bamaboiking says that if the fall dosent produce a hands on favorite, he thinks a dual-qb system will have to do.
