I figured since it was close to the 2019 all-star game, I would put together a 2019 Dugout "Futures" game for minor league players. The roster I selected is my opinion for the best National League and American League players (A, AA, AAA only - not currently in MLB) currently in the minors. Here are my teams - (please feel free to criticize if I'm missing someone...I expect it!)

    WORLD (American League)

    C - George Grant - Toronto
    1B - Jack Morrison - Toronto
    2B - Raul Barnett - Baltimore
SS - Clarence Walls - Oakland
    3B - Jimmy Broaca - NY
LF - John Hapgood - Tampa Bay
CF - Lewis Brown - Chicago
RF - David Arias - Detroit

    Reserves

    C - Landon Morton - Minnesota
    1B - David Allain - LA
    2B - Terry Lee - KC
    3B - Ramon Ocampo - Chicago
CF - Cade Patton - Baltimore
RF - Bernardo Martines - KC
LF - Jeffrey Bowers - Boston

    Pitching

    Takechi Ogama - Baltimore
    Victor Canales - Cleveland
    Bobby Robbins - Detroit
    Julio Pechero - Baltimore
    Elmer Grier - Cleveland
    Seriozha Janovich - Chicago
    Francisco Rios - Cleveland
    Dave Huijer - Texas
    Danny Carey - Chicago
    John Mitchell - Detroit

    USA (National League)

    C - Marcos Flores - Arizona
    1B - Antonio Moreno - Arizona
    2B - Dan Wilson - Miami
SS - Domingo Lopez - Miami
    3B - Matt Bates - Pittsburgh
LF - John Ward - NY
CF - Jason Smith - SF (moved from left)
RF - Manuel Trujillo - Atlanta

    Reserves

    C - Steve Long - St. Louis
    1B - Tim Rivers - San Diego
    2B - Aloisio Cartaxo - Chicago
    SS- Elroy Harrison - Milwaukee
    3B - Marcus Pachero - Colorado
LF - Jarred Clewes - Atlanta
RF - Tomas Garza - Philly

    Pitching

    Tucker Millsap - San Diego
    Sang-Your Park - SF
    Mark Kotc - Miami
    Oliver Sidotti - Washington
    Bobby Paukovi - Milwaukee
    Rob Courtney - Cincinnati
    Cesar Soto - Philly
    Mark Hopkins - Colorado
    Zach Riley - St. Louis
    Felipe Ramirez - Atlanta

To simulate this game, I imported these players into MLB the Show 13. In order to transfer ratings from OOTP to the Show, I used Emmdotfrisk and HAL9100 formula from last year's TCBL league. Obviously, the ratings in OOTP don't transfer 100% accurately to the show but it is pretty close.

So, here is the actual 2019 Dugout Futures Game brought to you by MLB The Show 13.

I will post the summary later.

Dude, that is fucking awesome. Although I'm not sure how I feel about a guy from Toronto winning MVP...

    Great job Ry! Awesome!

MINF Mike Hunt should have made it! There I'll be the first to say somebody should be in it.

Yeah..it came down to Hunt and Terry Lee from KC. Either would have been a good choice but Lee could be special.

Hunt only deserves everything because he has one of the better Dugout names.

His stuff and fastball ratings translate very well in the show. 67k's in 60 innings is impressive.

Yeah Great work man. Im sure this took a lot of time, and everyone appreciates it. I've only watched 4 innings, but will watch the rest tonight. Very cool stuff. Did you put in the players height and weight too?

Thanks. Yeah....height, weight, facial hair, etc. Based on style, Cade Patton is my new favorite player.

Great stuff man. I'll watch it at home since my work firewall blocks the video. I would have included the RF Perdo Sedro from the Toldeo Mud Hens unless he was picking up some ML at-bats while filling in for injuries. He's currently hitting .354/.428/.768 in 48 AAA games and is in the top 10 for the AAA triple crown in half the games as the leaders.

Just started watching, but I agree with this. Whoever the team is who has Cade Patton is probably pretty well run.

I thought I told you in skype that I was going to Boston for a few days. In any case, I'm back now. And since these AL East clowns couldn't pull away while I was gone, I guess I'll just go ahead and win the division now.
