End Of July 2037 RPI Rankings Rising Of The Western Sun: The AL West is back to being the dominant division we all know and expect. With 3 teams in the Top 5 after 2/3 of the season is done, they're declaring that the winner of the AL West will be battle tested and should be the favorite for taking home the WS Trophy. Other Ideas: Meanwhile, the Orioles continue to control the league as well as possible. They've allowed the 2nd least amount of runs and scored the 3rd most amount of runs out of the entire MLB. They've even narrowly underachieved their expected W-L totals. They're only 5-9 against the Astros and Rangers. Will they silence the doubters or will they be exposed once again in the ALCS? Sorry soxandgators : The AL Central still sucks. The Royals managed to creep into the upper half of the rankings but most every other division has at least 2 teams ranked higher than them. Don't expect anything from them come playoff time. Will The Real Contender Please Stand Up: No NL team has been able to take control of this season after 4 months. The Cubs started off poorly, the Phillies and Brewers have started to drop off, and the Rockies have also started to drop off but maybe the injury to Goian is holding them back. With 2 months left in the regular season, can anyone stand up and declare themselves as the favorite to represent the NL in the World Series?
