Here are our candidates for the E. Freshman of the Year (Stats through week 7):

    Barnes E FOY.PNG

Barnes has played very well this year for the Buckeyes. With an 8 to 1 TD:INT ratio Barnes has been extremely smart with the ball in his hands. He was not the starter entering the year but he is making Coach Nautica looking extremely wise placing him into the lineup.

    Jolly E FOY.PNG
Jolly had high expectations placed on him going into the season as he was the centerpiece for this year's recruiting class. He has played well averaging 7.3 yards per rush

I have a couple of freshman making impacts. HBs Jimmy Hoffman and Gerry Alexander are Splitting time in the backfield. Qb Jameel Huffman is splitting time at QB as well.

SS Roger Dean is a true freshman with the starting job. He only has 9 tackles thus far.

TE Mark Rogers is a true freshman at the #2 spot on the depth chart. He only has 2 catches for 24 yards and 1 TD.
