Let's start things off a little different this year. Everyone post their hopefuls and I'll try to update weekly. I waited a couple weeks on purpose so you could see who really came to play this season.

    Kansas State hopefuls

QB Robertson - Already has 600 yards passing and 9 TD's. His arm is the only weapon he needs

WR Mike Hall - Over 200 yards receiving so far

CB David Eaton - Our star Corner, only has 1 INT but has already had at least 5 deflections

SS Mike Harrington - Former FS is playing big at his new position. Caused two turnovers already with 15 tackles through 2 games.

    FOTY:
    Franklin Lewis

    MVP:
Pick a Linebacker. They're all phenomenal. Newton and Gilbert are the two most prominent.

    SMU HOPEFULS:

WR Tommy Freeman - Last year's SMU nominee. Has a new QB throwing to him and more talent at WR surrounding him so his numbers may be down.

QB Ryan Smith - He should fit in nicely as he takes over the mantle from Simmons. He's already averaging 100+ yards per game on the ground against 2 users (including 189 and 3 TDs against GT).

I'm not sure on D. I've had a couple guys making big noise early, but their all freshmen.

After 2 games he is 31/50 for 462 with 5 TD's and 1 INT; he's only run for 28 yards due to some sacks, though.

Jesus. I've got a bunch now. Franklin Lewis is a fucking stud. I'll throw his stats up even though he isn't Eligible for this award.

    FRESHMAN (INELIGIBLE)
Franklin Lewis: Electrifying Freshman who is still scorned by all the schools who overlooked him
36/53 470 yards 3 TDs 2 INTs Sacked Twice (which is a hell of a stat for a QB under my tenure in his first 3 games)
38 Rushes for 372 yards (9.7 Avg) 4 TDs 1 Fumble 0 Lost (Just happened on a pitch that Chase Coley just didn't attempt to grab)

Should be the front runner for FOTY (y) But here are my studs who will try and take home the EMVP

DT Cedric Ross: A tank in the middle of a fast D-line.
    6 Tackles (5 solo), 5 TFLs, 4 Sacks

MLB Justin Gilbert: Stud MLB who's speed is only matched to his partner in crime Ryan Newton.
    22 Tackles (16 solo), 5 TFL, 1 Sack, 1 Pick Six (96 yarder to be specific. Thanks niuhuskie224 :D)

ROLB Ryan Newton: Unbelievable the season he's been having. He is a born playmaker. He's only a Sophomore people!
    18 Tackles (14 solo), 10 TFL, 2 Sacks, 1 FF

CB Eric Robinson: Young gun who is a certified Ball Hawk.
    9 Tackles (4 solo), 3 INTs, 1 TD

CB Nick Johnson: The heart and pride of the defense.
    7 Tackles (6 solo), 1 TFL, 1 Sack, 1 INT, 1 FR, 1 TD

I disagree with this and I don't think it's homerism speaking as I have a FR that I think is having a better year so far (obviously it's really early still).

... Don't tell me you're QB is a Frosh!!!! NOO!!! That was my only worry. A pro at the Option game would blow Franklin out of the water.

Remember Nick Skinner wasn't eligible for the EMVP cause he was a Freshman?

No, my QB is a SO. My DE is a FR and is playing crazy well (and he missed an entire game due to a concussion and still has awesome stats.

I know he's not eligible (I was the one that had to tell Masler that Skinner wasn't eligible. I'm not asking why he's ineligible. I'm asking why you're throwing up his stats if he isn't even eligible for this award.

I don't know =/ I don't think I'll win either way and i don't know who would be better: Nick Jackson or Ryan Newton. I'll go Jackson cause he leads the NCAA in Picks and broke the BYU record
