I just need to familiarize myself with a playbook. What's the latest you can start tomorrow? Would 10 eastern be too late?

Miami is 100% the MOST aggressive team i've ever played. I had Ross Apo and Mitch Mathews WIDE OPEN all game. It was silly.

Running up the score a little are we? What'd you do? Recover the onside kick and then kick a FG on 1st down instead of taking a knee?!?

I tried it after i missed a 61 to see his limit. I shoulda took a knee. He was way short on the 61 but made the 57 with ease. My bad.

    WHOOP WHOOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aided by a 12 MPH wind my kicker, just beginning his 3rd year kicking for SMU has kicked his first every touchback!!!!!! It took him over 2 years and 150 kickoffs to do it and needed a 12 MPH wind to get the ball 3 yards deep into the end zone, but he's no longer the only kicker in the conference (user or CPU) to have never kicked a touchback!

Recruiting in bullshit. Why is every kid very low on playing time. I mean EVERY KID!!!! I am not saying some can not care, but you would think some of the top recruits would at least be high on it.

    Houston is Ready

I agree with this so fucking much. The top 5 players at a position more than likely have some interest in playing. You can't tell me a guy who started all his life wants to ride the bench at a school.

I will try to be on earlier. 10 is late to start for me, too. My wife is headed out for a girls night with our 4 year old, so I'm staying home for boys night in with the 5 year old. I might be able to get my playbook set up while they are out. It will just depend on what time she gets home. Normally, they are in bed by 8, but tonight might be a little later.

Just shoot me a text later this evening when you're ready and I'll plan on staying up, because I'm probably going to practice with some playbooks after I recruit when I get home today. I liked Auburns but there are a few more I want to try out

Yeah, I saw that. We'll get it in tonight. I am hoping for just a few minutes of practice, but it may not happen.

Since we are advancing tonight, and there are a whopping 6 user games next week, I figured we could start scheduling.

Georgia Tech aarondramp vs. Houston niuhuskie224
    UNC Jolts57 vs. SMU jello1717
BYU UofCWildcat vs. Maryland LSUTRUTH - I hope Masler is ready to lock a thread after this one. :D
Virginia dakota7 vs. Arkansas St. iBleedOrange247
Florida St. Big Suge Knight vs. Kansas St. Masler

Should be a fun week and with 3 ACC vs. Big XII match ups, the power conference recruiting pitch could change.

Edit: Just 5 user games. TCU and Baylor are on byes.

With the user games about to get going, what do you think about having a pick 'em for user games. Everyone could pick the user games, and the winner at the end of the year gets an extra scholarship to use that year or next? I would be willing to keep up with it.

I guess really anyone can chime in on this. It's just an idea that I have enjoyed in other leagues I've been in.

We could do that. Would generate extra content, are you volunteering then?

Put me in, coach. I'll make the thread right now. People still have several hours to get in a pick for tonight's game.

Tonight is no good for me (Bears vs. Packers)

Tomorrow we are going out for drinks for my wife's birthday and then to the homecoming football game for her school.

Saturday is the dance which means I have a majority of the afternoon and night to myself.

Give me some windows, even Friday ones and we can figure out when we can get this in.
