Fuck this. Super Mario, Tim, and Marcus i'm cool with. I'm even cool with some random DT transferring. But to lose my top player for next year to Jello AGAIN is utter horse shit. I honestly feel we should be able to talk to transfers. I understand Draft people not but i'm sick of losing people to Jello for no reason. I fed this kid the ball on the daily and he leaves.
No man it's cool. I would too. I stole that SOB from you.
I was laughng so hard at the John Webb situation that I let JC beat me to posting this.
All my key players left last year although four of my players leaving were OL starters. I went after Johnny wood hard last offseason and he went to College Park. I might cut his ass to make room since i have four QBs on the roster now.
Notable Coaching Changes in our Conferences:
OSU hires John Burton and fires Bo Pelini. No idea where Burton is from.
Purdue hires Scott Loeffler who is a former Michigan assistant.
WSU Hires Kevin Johns and fires D. Wommack
Alabama hires former Tennessee coach David Cutcliffe and fires J.Schmidt
Kentucky hires Bob Diaco and fires J. Phillips
LSU Hires Chris Ball and fires coach Dwreck
Mississippi State hires Mike Johnson and fires D. Mullen
South Carolina hires Jim Mcelwain and fires Charlie Weis
John Burton must be a CPU created coach b/c he is not showing on the list of coaching changes. Poor Charlie. I keep Kirk Ferentz as my DC cool if it mattered for anything.
Wisconsin only has 2 leave early......shaking my damn head.
We aren't talking back transfers either are we? I'm going to go ahead and advance shortly.
Considering how bad I feared ti would be, this isn't terrible and certainly not surprising (for the most part). There's another 5 guys that I could easily see leaving early. I do find it hilarious, however, that Dominic Williams was the only 1 of my 9 superstar true JRs that I said would return and he's the one to leave. If I had to choose between his 84 OVR ass (with 3 superstars in waiting as FR and SO) over my only 2 1st team All Americans OLB Benjamin Bailey and DT Jeff Dougherty, I can't help but to say "hit the bricks Dominic!"
UofCWildcat, are you still promising kids that you're gonna beat me?
F*CK..DAMN IT..OH HOLY JESUS..SON OF A B*TCH..LAMP
No shit where's the logic EA? Great brats and beer in Madison I guess.
Funny... I haven't promised anyone anything
The more I think about this, the more I realize I'm very fine with it. None of my guys was surprising except for Williams, but I was strongly debating not even starting him his SR year. Losing Stephens will hurt, but there was no stopping that. I already have 2 other Bryan Stephens in soon to be SOs Burks and Richardson and since I knew he'd leave, I already signed someone to replace Stephens in this year's class. I knew Hayes would leave, but my talent at CB is pretty ridiculous (so good, that even though I knew Hayes would leave, I never even added a CB to my board this year as I already have the horses lined up). Powers is the only one that saddens me as he'll be tougher to replace, but his other MLB buddy, Griffin, is even better and chose to stay so I'm good there too!
Hmmmm. I wonder why they're leaving then. Wanna take a guess who is the leading receiver for receptions (11 more than my #2 guy) and yards (316 more than my #2!) on my team now? And that's with me only losing 1 WR last year so I had a ton return for me.
At least you have Munoz available this year after sitting out last year. Kid should be a beast. #9 HB and #36 overall when we recruited him.
Sucks your secondary was decimated.... Gutierrez should be a 95-97 rating this year...
