Two weeks have come and gone and alot of action has taken place across the TF Serie A, B and C as well as the first couple games of the Coppa. As the third week gets in the way, let's take a look at the teams currently in form and the teams that are still finding their way through the first half of the season.

    [IMG]SMOKING HOT

These three teams all get mention as they are currently taking points from anyone they encounter. Each division gets a representative here - and all three teams have the same thing in common - they all top their league tables.

    Serie C PSV Eindhoven [ redwings8831 ] - W*WWWW* - 15 out of 15 | 7 Wins out of 7 matches
The Serie C leaders set the pace in the early season - the only team to yet drop a single point in all competition. If that doesn't impress you, their offensive display will - scoring a staggering 24 goals in all of their matches so far. This includes matchups in Group F - a relatively strong group. Right now, it seems as if they it's going to take a massive defensive effort to slow down the rejuvenated Dutch side. An impressive start to the season and there are talks of an undefeated season already starting - will it happen? Will check back in 2 weeks.

    Serie A West Ham United [ CxMacx10 ] - W*WWWW* - 15 out of 15 points
Getting the perfect week in league play as well as the Coppa, Manager CxMacx10 is trying his best to create some separation in Serie A. Undefeated since a Week 1 setback against Udinese, the London club is in groove right now picking up 100% points in their last 5 matches - including the first 2 games in Group G where they look certain to advance outscoring their opponents 8-1 in Coppa Play.

    Serie B QPR [ BESHIKTAS ] - WW*WWD - 13 out of 15 points
From Serie B, the table toppers make the list for their latest form - winning their last 4 matches in impressive fashion - the last 3 league matches a combined 9-2 with 2 clean sheets. The Londoners also sit atop Group H in Coppa Play winning both games so far with a combined score of 7-2. Their one blemish was a 4-1 setback against Wolfsburg in Match 3 - but overall, QPR's offense have scored a total of 25 goals in 9 total matches.

    Honorable Mentions:
The first 2 weeks have produced some teams that are starting brightly - the top 3 teams above highlights the cream of the crop so far - but the following teams deserve some credit for their current form.
    • Serie A Sao Paulo - W*D*WWW* - 13/15 pts - some strong play from the Brazilians in Coppa play, and Manager Zikry is hoping it carries over to league play where his side has 8 pts in 5 matches
    • Serie A Hannover 96 - LW*WWW* - 12/15 pts - The German side is also seeing mixed results in League and Coppa play, but is currently hitting their stride. Although they lost their last match, they were in form winning their previous 4 matches til then.
    [IMG] ICE COLD

And then there's the team's struggling to find consistency and form - and some that have yet to kickoff their campaign in full. For some reason or another, these teams have found it hard to adapt to the new season and if things don't turn around soon, the season can be lost.

On to the most surprising teams on this list...

    Udinese [ Friz ] - LLD*L*L - 1 out of 15 points - 4 points in total of 6 matches including Coppa
The Italian club was one of the teams to watch for in the new season, as Manager Friz returns back to his old club. Unfortunately, the season has started roughly as they have lost their last 3 league matches - giving up 4 goals in every game and getting outscored 12-5 in the process. Their lone win came in Match 1 when they picked up a 2-1 win against the Hammers - since then it's been a disappointing season. In Coppa play they lost their first match and manage to pick up a point in the second match. Surprisingly, Udinese finds themselves in the Relegation zone in Serie A and have a big climb if they plan to advance in Coppa Play. All eyes will be on the Italians as the season is still early, and the early struggles will sure be addressed by the experienced manager.

    Swansea City [ snake3249 ] L*LLLD* - 1 out of 15 points - 5 points in total of 7 matches
Swansea City make this short list as they currently hold the longest losing streak to date - losing their last 4 matches in all competition - 3 in league play and 1 in Coppa by a staggering 15-2 aggregate scoreline. The defense has leaked in goals and the offense is struggling leaving manager snake3249 plenty to work out. The good news is that the season is young, and the newly promoted team has time on their side. They can still advance in Coppa with a win against Athletic Club and although in the Relegation zone in Serie A - they are still in the mix if they can straighten the ship and pick up some wins in the coming weeks.

And there's the teams that need to get their seasons going - only time will tell how these teams will start their campaigns.
    • RCD Espanyol - 1 match played through today
    • Aston Villa - 2 matches played through today

I am in the worst form of my TFS career and that is saying something. I think I tweaked my controller because my passing has been real off lately. But I would be honest and say I just still suck :)

We have reached the Holiday Break of the season and it has been closely contested across the league. We have few teams currently in long win streaks, some teams sliding into the break and unfortunately some teams dropping out for various reasons. So here we go with the 2nd Edition.

    Who's Hot?

Sao Paulo (@Zikry) - WWWWW - Win streak of over 5 games across all competitions - advanced to Premier Cup Finals, QF of Coppa
Montpellier (@Vipermansa) WWWWW - Currently in 5 game win streak all in League Play to climb to the top of the Serie A table
Marseille (@hokie79) WWWWW - Won last 8 matches across all competitions, advanced to Finals of TSOP Cup and also in QF of Coppa

    Who's Not

Hoffenheim (IJGator) - LLLLL - Currently have lost the last 5 games in all competition
Galatasaray (@Godevils) LLDLL - Struggling to find their form, picked up only 1 point from 15
Bordeaux (@Broncos218) - LLLWD - From Serie A, the French outfit have picked up only 4 points from 15 in League Play to drop to mid-table

The break came just in time for many clubs, but the in-form clubs would have wanted to continue their play as they compete for top honours.

Nice job with this hokie79. To go with the English term... we've been nothing but rubbish.
