Taking a blue print from the real life Dallas Cowboys, the QSF version drafted an offensive lineman in the 1st round for the 2nd consecutive year with the pick of LT Saul Reyes out of Florida State. This follows the drafting of LT Darone Hairston (UCLA) in the 2017 draft. Those two picks give Dallas 5 1st rounders on the OL for the upcoming season. Hairston moved over to RT to take over for Doug Free, who remains the backup. And Reyes will slide over to LG and fill a position of need for this squad. "We were tempted to go after some of the available players in FA but decided there was enough talent in this draft where that wouldn't be necessary", said GM/Coach Moe.
The 2018 season will also feature some changes in the secondary. Dallas was able to outbid their rival Giants for the services of CB Jason McCourty. Coupled with C. Mullins, this gives the Cowboys a solid duo at CB. The addition of McCourty also allowed the team to move on from CBs O. Scandrick and B. Carr who were released.
But the biggest move for this franchise was the release of QB T. Romo. A fan favorite who was never able to take the team to the Super Bowl during his tenure as the starting QB. The Cowboys will be coming off of a 12-4 season and a short venture into the playoffs. Can they build on this newly laid foundation and make it to the Big Dance?
    Stay tuned...
