After and year of protesting and fighting about pay and political issues in Tallahassee, FL. The FSView reporters and anchors just ended their strike and will be bringing back stories and stats to you. Sorry for the inconvenience to Florida St. fans and family.

#8 Florida St. Humiliates Boston College 49-7

In Week 7, Florida St. wanted to make sure they can resume the season after 2 tough losses earlier in the year and now losing FR(rs) Jameis Winston for probably the rest of the year(10 wks) with broken ribs. Clint Trickett was on point and precise from the get go. Clint lead the Seminoles down the field their first drive and capped it off with a Devonta Freeman 1 yard dive. After a silent 2nd quarter, Clint continued to cruise thru the game in the 3rd and connected with Nick O'Leary for 2 passes over the middle, one going for 24 yards and the other for a 71 bomb that the defensive end tried to comeback into coverage but couldn't keep up. Boston College followed with long drive and ended it with a tightly covered 12 yards strike to Bobby Swigert. Clint immediately came back with a 40 second 3 play drive to hit Reshard Greene with a 13 yard strike of his own. The 4th quarter was mainly Boston College turning the ball over and Florida St. running the ball. FR(rs) Mario Pender had a counter go for a 28 yard touchdown scamper and James Wilder Jr. ended the scoring with a 6 yard touchdown after a interception.
Florida St. wanted to get their defensive up to par for the rest of the year as it is clear it is not the same group as it was last years great defense. Florida St. only let up 219 yards of total offense for Boston College and was lead by SR MLB Tevin Smith who ended up with a career game 8 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 int, 1 ff, and Xavier Rhodes and Keelin Smith combining for 3 more int's. True Freshman Scott Horne also added a sack to his nation leading 9 sacks. He has been exactly what Florida St. has expected of his so far.
Player of the Game: Tevin Smith 8 tkls, 2 sacks, 1 int, 1 ff
    QB Trickett 20-23 303 yards 3 tds 0 ints
RB Pender 6 att 59 yards 1 td
    Freeman 8 att 32 yards 1 td
    WR O'Leary 4 cth 119 yards 2 tds
    R. Greene 10 cth 116 yards 1 td
Next week Florida St. will host #10 Michigan St. next week and hope to have a few recruits sign by then
