Looks like there will be a golf game for next gen systems coming out this spring. There will be a course maker/editor that looks really interesting as well as some of the multiplayer aspects. http://thegolfclubgame.com/
I would assume so! Have seen some nice designed courses on PC over the years! Hopefully some people do not have a life!
This is interesting , any idea when target release date is yet ? I hope they have not finished the swing mechanics and what not. Most of those shots looked way too straight.
Spring 2014 Glancing over their forums it looks like beta announcements are coming within the next two weeks.
Good stuff Johnny. This game looks great, I'd love to see this side of the site get more attention. Especially if you were able to construct a tour consisting of TSO generated courses, just the thought of it.

I really like that the developers hope people create their local courses and play them in game before going out to play them in real life. I already think my first course ill try and make is my local par 3 course.
"-No career mode. -Everyone has the same attributes, so no advancing of skills or anything like that." Ouch. Aside from these two, sounds great. With MLB and UFC dropping most likely around the same time frame though, I may be a bit reluctant to jump on this title.
Some updates: Creating realistic sky and clouds http://thegolfclubgame.com/2014/02/10/development-diary-realistic-sky-clouds/ Moving Greens and Tees
I wonder how well I will be able to create courses from past score cards ? Or even printing them from online ? Game doesn't sound like it has all the bells and whistles we are use to , but I love the aspect of creating courses. I hope this game gets enough support to make a few more cycles of it.
At least on the PC side of things, though, there may be mods galore allowing you/us to get what we may want out of it.
