    Some big names are on the early season hot seat, most notably Dusty Bottoms (seriously? lol) at Florida. Mr. Bottoms is in the final year of his contract, and at just 30% security, the Gators could be looking for a new coach next season.

    Others potential job openings include Texas Tech (Tommy Tuberville in his final year of his contract and at just 3% job security), and Wisconsin (Bret Bielma, final year, 35%.

    As far as user coaches go, everyone is in pretty good shape, although 3 are in their last year under contract; Jay Perry (UTEP), Frank Baron (FIU), and Marcus Dowdell (Cincinnati).

    Be sure to check back here every couple of weeks to see how these coaches are getting along, and any other possible job opportunities that could be coming your way.

    Heading into week 5, not a lot has changed on the coaching front. Texas Tech's Tommy Tuberville hasn't done much to cool his seat, as the Red Raiders have started 0-2 in Big 12 play. Gators HC Dusty Bottoms (still can't get over that) posted a nice 3-0 start, including a nice road win over Arkansas, only to get beat in Knoxville in a rivalry game, which actually lowered his job security to 27%. On the positive, Bret Bielma is off to a 2-0 start, with a 52-0 beat down of Oregon and a 21-9 win over a ranked Texas team.

    For those wondering on possible job vacancies, the following teams have coaches in the final year of their contract and are under 30% job security;
    Temple, Florida, North Carolina, Army, Texas Tech.

    User coaches are all looking solid so far, with Cincinatti's Marcus Dowdell, Hawai'i's Johnny Utah, and Washington's Todd Berry all at 100% security. It is Dowdell's final year under contract for the Bearcats though, so he will have an interesting decision after the season.

    It's not randomly generated . . . That was Dwreck before he quit the league. When a user retires from the OD, their HC Stays in the coaching landscape on the game.

    Heading into the home stretch of the season, it appears as if some high caliber coaching positions could be coming available.

    Tommy Tuberville is all but done at Texas Tech. The Red Raiders are 2-5, and Tubs is holding just an 8% security rating in the final year of his contract.

    North Carolina could be looking for a new HC, as Nathaniel Hackett is also in his final year and sitting at 22% security. The Tar Heels are 3-4 so far this season.

    But the jewel of coaching vacancies could be coming at Florida. In his final contract year, Mr. Bottoms is only 25% secure and the Gators are currently 3-3 in the SEC.

    I can say with confidence that I'll be featured in this thread before long once we make the shift to Heisman.
