Welcome to the debut edition of "The Lambeau Leap" This will be my first full season as Coach of the Green Bay Packers, and already some moves have been made.

We start out with the Quarterback position, with no change here, Aaron Rodgers is still our guy along with Brian Hoyer backing him up. The only question we have... Will we get normal Aaron Rodgers or Porn-Stache Aaron Rodgers?

Running Back position much like the quarterback position, no change for the starters, as Eddie Lacy and John Kuhn will get the HB/FB spots. 20 year old Ruben Miller joins the team this year, but doesn't look to get much playing time as he sits behind Dontae Reid and Coco Swope.

Wide Receivers, what good is the star, Aaron Rodgers, if no one is here to play WR, right? Randall Cobb and an aging Jordy Nelson return to the team along with Jarrett Boykin and Davante Adams. The biggest pick up for Green Bay on the offensive side of the ball, comes in 32 year old former Atlanta Falcon Harry Douglas. Douglas has already made his presence felt in the pre-season, making several big catches as he made 7 catches for 133 yards against the Raiders. Also with the signing of Douglas, in the 7th round of the NFL Draft, Neiron Peppers was selected by the Green Bay Packers. While already deep depth at Receiver, Peppers has shown his skills at Kick Returning, and will be the primary Kick Returner for the season.

Long time Packer veteran Jermichael Finley will lead the way for Tight Ends this season. Also expect to see Brandon Bostick and Richard Rodgers take the field on occasion. 24 year old Tank Campbell sneaked his way through this year's cut day, hopes to make the most of his chance, if he is able to find the field this season.

The Green Bay offensive line took a hit over the past couple of seasons, but they feel Preston Capers, drafted from Miami in the 3rd round will be able to fill the void in the long term at Left Tackle. TJ Lang moves over to play Center this season after playing Right Guard for most of his career. Center has been a void the last 2 seasons, but due to contract disputes, and draft busts, the position has been a revolving door. With Lang moving over, this gives Leonard Quick the chance to start at Right Guard this season, and Veteran Bryan Bulaga rounding out the Offensive line at Right Tackle.

The Defensive Line for Green Bay has been one of the weakest spots in the eyes of the Coach. Dareon Ellison out of Georgia will start for the 2nd season at Left End as will Zach Hartley from California at Right End. Defensive Tackle was a troublesome position as Phillip Hale, drafted out of Georgia last year was a draft bust, considered by most. During the Free agency, Green Bay picked up Earl Mitchell, who departed from the Miami Dolphins. 30 year old Mitchell brings some veteran insight to the defensive line.

The Green Bay Linebackers may be some of the most promising Linebackers. Veteran leader Clay Matthews will take the reigns of the Green Bay defense for another seasons, leading the Middle Linebackers R.T. Lopez and A.J. Hawk. Lopez was a top candidate for Rooke Of the Year coming out of Florida A & M, but an injury against the Indianapolis Colts would take him out of the running.Lopez would also be injured in his sophomore NFL season. Giving Brad Jones, free agent signing a chance to start, and he made the most of it. Green Bay would re sign Jones during the preseason this season, remembering how well he did in last season's charge to the playoffs. On the right side of the field, two hungry linebackers are fighting for the chance to start on Sundays during this pre-season as Carl Bradford and Nick Perry are trying to show why they deserve the starting spot. Whoever starts, we can expect plenty of Clay doing "The Predator".

Cornerbacks. Casey Hayward and Sam Shields return in their attempts to shut down the receivers. During the Free Agency, Jerraud Powers was added to the group. And to deepen the depth, Keithen Nix was drafted during the 2nd round out of Houston. The owners and coaching staff all agreed, this young man had superstar written all over him.

Safeties Not much of a change here, as Micah Hyde and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix will take the field this season.

Mason Crosby is back with the team, who kicked a 57 yard Field Goal against the Raiders week 1 in Pre-Season, showing even at the age of 33, he can still get the football down the field and through the uprights. A new Punter was signed during the Free Agency however, as Gabriel Trammell has joined the team.

Overall, in my my first season as head coach, the pieces are all here to make a playoff run, possibly a Super Bowl run. the Green Bay Packers could be the underdog team that no one sees coming, and slides into the playoffs. With the ingredients given, I could see a 10-6 record to end the season. We play a tough schedule, many teams from the playoffs last season. Vikings, Lions, Patriots, Seahawks and of course, the defending Super Bowl Champions, Buffalo Bills.

The Green Bay Packers are set to kick off the regular season on the road in Arizona on Monday Night Football, then traveling to New England before finally kicking off the season at home Week 3 hosting the Seattle Seahawks in a Wildcard Round rematch from last season!

That's a cool News Paper. I like the trade rumors too....that undisclosed team is still willing to talk.

What's Rodgers' injury rating? He seems to go down a lot.

Always love reading these. I don't know if it's just me but this is the first one where I the whole paper is visible.

Yep, it is the first full paged paper. Due to it being the Mid Season Paper, it's a special edition.

I love reading these too, and I don't want to sound critical: The AFC North is described as AFC West .

The article is very accurate in the other details! Jeremy, Husker, Mozzy and I are all like feral cats trying to escape a sinking locker room.

Hey Ryan - I tried to tell you I called that fake fg by mistake. Sometimes when I'm calling plays I think I called something when really it was something else. I believe I took a sack on the play to punish myself as I didn't even want to attempt to throw it. Hand to God it was a mistake - I would never try to rub in a win in that fashion. Again, sorry man. That on'es on me.

It's cool, I was just confused lol, but it gave me a chance for a comeback, If I played better. Then I extended the GG in chat and got no answer, so I didn't know. All good though.

I was on the mic early in the game and tried hitting you up but got no responses so I just put them around my neck and played the rest of the way.
