OK, Here's what I'm going to do: We haven't really laid down the law here, so I'm going to do so. Then, I'll expand a bit. So, first you will see a list of "rules" and then you will see a list of "wants" so guys know what they can and can not do. Then, I will make my team choice, and each of you will make yours. Here goes: Rules: 1. No more than 4 in a conference. 2. No more than 2 per division. 3. Coaches may start anywhere, and at any level. That's it. Now, here's a list of things I would prefer, but am not willing to regulate. Wants: 1. I would like all 12 to end up in three conferences, whether this happens in year one, or in year five. 2. I would like big and small schools to align themselves in reasonably competitive ways. 3. I do not want anyone going unopposed in a conference, or getting a walk into a BCS game. I don't know if we can satisfy all these criteria, but it would be nice if we could get close. The easiest way would be to find someone willing to "pair up" with you and choose a similar path. For example, if Smooth will play Michigan, that makes it easier for me to play OSU because I have a reasonable challenge right from the start. So let's start making some commitments, shall we?
