Penn State pulled away from a suprisely close game at the beginning after going down 10-7, but scored 38 unanswered points after the Nittany Lions D settled down. Penn State had a balanced attack with 259yds on the ground and 273yds in the air. The 2 headed monster at RB of Curtis Dukes and Eric Young combined for 230yds with a TD a piece. QB Jonathan Johnson threw for 256yds 3 TD. AA DT Jordan Hill led the D with 8 tkl and 2 sacks. Penn Stae faces FSU next week in the Conference challenge.

Penn State beat Florida State with a safe gameplan and a effecient, balanced attack. Jonathan Johnson managed the game with 292yds 3TD in the air and on the ground. But more importantly without turning the ball over. The Nittany Lions sealed the victory with a pick 6 by AA CB Darnell Givens in the 4th.

The well rested Nittany Lions beat down the Badgers outgaining Wisconsin 578yds to 265yds. The Penn State offense was effecient and balanced, but starting QB Jonathan Johnson who had been playing great this season goes down to injury early in the 1st half. Penn State didn't skip a beat with back Anthony Jenkins who threw for 219yds 2 TD and added 2 more TD on the ground. Johnson will be out 4 weeks, but if Jenkins can manage the offense Penn State should have their starting QB back for the conference deciding match up against Ohio State.

Well my backup QB almost lost this one tssing 4 INT's including 2 pick 6's, but my defense played tuff only giving up 201yds and causing 4 INT's with 1 pick 6. Despite the 4 INT's Jenkins threw for 353yds and 2 TD. Dukes and Reid split carries for 139yds 1 TD.

Damn it!!! It must be a mental thing because I can not play with a backup QB. 4 more INT's and a fumble on a sack. 5 TO's by my backup QB!!! 2 of the picks were for TD's!!! I guess thats what I get for talking about the BCS title prematurely today. Looks like I am now on the outside looking in for the Big 10 title as well. 2 more weeks without my starting QB, hoping he will be healthy for the OSU game.

I couldn't have played better and this is very suprising after my loss to cpu Purdue. My back up QB Jenkins was 19/21 364yds 3 TD and 0 INT's. James and Brown both had over 100yds rec. Dukes had 117yds 3 TD on 15 carries including this crazy run that set the tone early.

My defense was on point to with 7 sacks and 3 TO's, holding the Bruins to 241yds with most of it coming in the 4th. Recchem is a better coach than the score indicates, he is just in a hole with UCLA. You can see the drop off in talent. GG Recchem.

Welcome back Johnson as my starting QB returns from injury throwing for 358yds 6 TD and only 1 INT. Brown was the target of choice with 147yds 3 TD. Dukes and Reid split carries again for 107yds as the ground game struggled. Looks to be a big matchup with Ohio State next week as the Nittany Lions are finally at full strength.

Penn State jumped on the Buckeyes early and never looked back. Penn Stae was up 28-0 before the Ohio State scored and the Nittany Lions held a 35-7 lead at half. Penn State was led by a very effecient throwing performance by Johnson (thank god he is back from injury) 14/15 205yds 2 TD 0 INT and Dukes on the ground with 178yds 1 TD. Ried added another 68yds 3 TD as Dukes was in and out with injury. Ohio State was able to move the ball the scond half but losing the turnover battle -3 and a 28 point halftime defecit it was a little to late.

The Nittany Lions looked impressive again as they roll threw their Big 10 schedule. Penn State overpowered Michigan State with a balance attack 269yds in the air and 196yds on the ground. Penn State's slim hopes for a BCS bid are still in take.
