    A NEW ERA BEGINS
    [IMG]
Owner Nolan Ryan holds a press conference to introduce the New GM Drunken Soldier, it is time for a change in Arlington, as Texas has had 4 straight losing seasons and hasnt had more then 80 wins since 2013 when they won the division.
Its been another poor season this year as The Rangers are currently 42-46 20 games back of division leading Seattle. Looks like new GM DS will take the rest of the season to evaluate the talent in all levels of the organization and hopefully but in a solid game plan to get this team back on track.

Trade Deadline came and went with The Rangers standing pat, its too early to start making moves until i get a better grasp of what i got and what i need. Will be looking for some minor league deals to set up my minor league teams a bit better as we seem to stock piling certain positions in the minor leagues and it aint pitchers.
Currently the Rangers sit at 51-57 and are on a 5 game winning streak and with little to no chance of making the playoffs the team is now playing for jobs next year and pride.

Its been another rough month for The Rangers as they fall to 10 games under .500 with a record of 12-16 in the month to put there overall record at 63-73, the team has been very streaky with 2 5 game winning streaks in the month but a 5 and 6 game losing streak really kept us from improving are record. The injury bug seems to be a problem with this teams as it seems everyone is taking a turn on the DL. Last month of the season and we are looking to get back to the .500 level and finish this off strong

Pitching, my rotation is really weak. Problem is my the CPU has made some really bad contracts for my team and I'm going to be strapped for cash. Pretty sure ill end up in the red this year. With Perez and Kimbrel both making over 12mil a season and signed for the next couple of years I gotta hope Hamilton retires and I can maybe buy these guys out and blow it up. I got really good looking young players and hope to build off that

After being in serious money problems GM Drunkensoldier made no moves in the offseason, we had to let a few guys go and we are ready to start the new season.
    Start of 2019
~Schedule makers arent being kind to the Texas Rangers, 18 of our first 24 games are on the road
~Rangers start out 9-8 after 1st 2 sims, month end coming for full recap
~so far doing well on injury front, keeping our fingers crossed.
~ Texas had nice sim going 5-3 but my offense is letting me down in the early going, right now my Starting Pitchers are 1st AL in era and I'm only 9-8. I don't think my pitching can keep this up for the whole year but we can hope

    2019 Amateur Draft
    Rounds 1 and 2
    1st RD 11th Pick
Really counting on this kid to pan out as he has very high intelligence and work ethic, plus was easily signable and shouldnt break the bank
    [IMG]
    1st RD 13th Pick
After looking over the 1st few rounds this pick was probably a stretch in this slot, but i really liked this kid and didnt think he'd be around for my next pick, 1st draft theres a little bit of learning curve to get through.
    2nd RD 12th Pick
After 2 pitchers decided to get a bat, hopefully this kid can be a solid slugger in the pro's one day with his good Contact, gap power and power potential ratings
    [IMG]
After the first few rounds im feeling good about this draft, needed to add some solid prospects to the organization, especially pitching did that so far and hoping to get some more.

    May 2019 Recap
After an eventful first amateur draft, its time to get down to business and try to make a run for the playoffs....................or at least .500. The Rangers started the month of on playing well going 9-6 but fell off at the end of the month finishing with a monthly record of 11-17 including 6 straight losses to end the month, wow that sucked. 3B Drew Robinson came out of nowhere to have the best month of his baseball career putting up some great numbers and Josh Hamilton just keeps on producing as he leads the team in HR and RBI's while keeping the batting average above .300. SP Wilson Bojorquez is starting to become the ace of the pitching staff, too bad the pitching staff is pretty awful.
    Batting Leaders
    3B Drew Robinson 86 AB, 3 HR, 16 RBI's, .337 BA, .414 OBP
    2B Odubel Herrera 104 AB, 3 HR, 16 RBI's, 5 SB's, .327 BA, .405 OBP
    LF Josh Hamilton 110 AB, 7 HR, 24 RBI's, .291 BA
    Pitching Leaders
    SP Wilson Bojorquez 2W-1L , 31.2 IP, 32 K's, 3.13 ERA, 1.52 WHIP
    SP Andrew Faulkner 1W-1L, 34.1 IP, 28 K's, 3.15 IP, 1.28 WHIP
Year to Date Record: 23 wins and 31 losses

Texas goes 7-2 this sim and is back .500, my starting pitchers are pitching well and my relievers aren't blowing any games , if this keeps up maybe a run to the playoffs? We can dream can't we? 12-5 in our last two sims does feel good tho, hopefully we can keep it going.

    2019 Season Recap
The Rangers finished another disappointing season off going 76-86, this was the 1st full season under new management and things are slowly starting to come around. We had a sold draft and are slowly trying to rebuild the minor league system and still put a competitive major league team on the field. We are still hampered by some bad contracts that are eating up our budget but things are looking up, a couple more seasons and we should be ready to make some noise.
Doug Joseph had a solid rookie campaign wth 32 HR, 112 RBI's with a batting average of .256 and just got beaten out in the rookie of the year balloting.
Byron Buxton despite missing 40 games had 12 HR, 47 RBI's with 24 stolen bases and batted .307
The ageless one Josh Hamilton had another great year with 28 HR's, 113 RBI's and batted .297
Wilson Bojorquez established himself as the ace of the staff going 15-9 with a 3.25 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP with 183 strike outs
