    The New Buckeye's Recap

Today the Buckeyes led by the mid season coaching change to promote little know LSUmark Stomp New mexico state 42-3. LSUmark was quoted before the game saying we are going to get back to basic. And basics is what he did. Led by sophmore stand out Daniel Herron who had 15 carries for 149 yards and 4 td with a 9.9 avg rushing, the buckeyes had 3 players with over a 100 yards rushing. Pryor got into the mix with 135 yards rushing, but the most impressive player might be Freshman stud Jaamal Berry who had 8 carries for 135 yards and also a kick off return for a td. Pryor put up only 72 yards through the air, but coach mark when asked about the low total was quoted in saying, We got on them early with our rushing attach and we felt like we didnt need to run up the score by throwing all over them like i said were getting back to the basic run the ball and control the clock.
Doug worthington controlled the defensive side with 7 tackles 3 for a loss with 2 sacks.

    What a game

The Buckeys squeaked out a close win today against a tough Penn state team 26 - 20. The Buckeyes won the toss and elected to play the wind, giving PSU the ball first. The Buckeyes looked like the number one team in the country quickly getting a 3 and out only giving out 4 yards, and then marching down the feild to take a quick 7-0 lead. And then came the Nittany lions. Scoring 3 td's in a span of 49 seconds took a extremly quick 20 - 7 lead and looked to be pulling away with the game. OHio state got the ball and scored right before half to get it back to 20 - 14. The on their first possesion of the second half had to settle for a 35 yrd field goal to trail 20 - 17. BUt on their very next possesion would throw a 46 yard bomb to taks a 23 - 20 lead , and would add a field goal to make it 26. The nittany lions werent done they drove the length of the field before being stopped on a 4th and 2 with 11 seconds left from their own 5 yard line... Close game all the way to the end.
Pryor went 5 for 10 for 157 and 1 td and 0 int and 44 yards rushing
daniel Herron had 22 carries for 66 yards and 2 td's

Very scary moment when terrel pryor got hurt and had to sit out the entire second half

Ohio State and Michigan was a wild one. One destin to be replayed over. Ohio state jumped out to a 24-0 lead and looked to be on cruise control since danny Herron hit the 100 yards rushing in the first quarter. But Michigan refused to lay down in the big house in scored 14 points in a matter of seconds bringing the half score to 27- 14 OSU. Michigan must have got a defensive chewing by coach Hood Beacuse they would only allow two field goals in the second half and would draw within a single score after a two point conversion. BUt led by Etienne Sabino the sophmore sensation who had 7 tackles and 3 picks along with fellow sophmore Nathan Williams who had 4 sacks. OSU defense would hold to a 33-24 victory

    KEY Players :
    Etienne Sabino 3 int's 7 tackles
    Nathan Williams 4 sacks
Daniel Herron 164 yards rushing with 2 td's including a 72 yard scamper
