The Buffalo Bills are no more. The franchise has moved in another direction. The Bills are now the SENTINELS, they have a new Stadium, and they have a new location. The Orlando Sentinels have a completely new look, a new feel, and a new direction. The Sentinels first game in history would be against the tough division rivals ~ The New York Jets ~ First Half: TRIVIA QUESTION: Who was the first team to score in the Orlando Sentinel's Dome? The Jets...they scored a field goal. The First half was a back and forth between the Jets and Sentinels that ended up in a 6-3 Halftime Lead for the Sentinels. Second Half: The Sentinels would add another field goal early to make the score 9-3 Sentinels. The game almost broke open when new Jets WR Percy Harvin grabbed a deep pass. If not for a shoe string tackle, Percy would have gone yard. This tackle would prove to be huge, as the stingy Sentinels defense was able to hold the Jets to just a field goal on that drive. Safety Jarius Byrd made a play on the ball and came down with an improbable interception. This led to WR Marquise Goodwin scoring a TD at the TRIVIA QUESTION: Who was the first team to score a TD in the Orlando Sentinel's Dome? The Sentinels...99 Speed WR Marquise Goodwin christened the stadium with a breakaway mid-range TD catch. Thje Jets would add a field goal, and then force a fumble on the first play after the kickoff. The Jets followed through with a rushing TD from RB Holmes. The game was tied up 16-16. The Sentinels were fortunate enough to take the ball down the field on the last drive and end the game with a field goal by FSU kicker Dustin Hopkins.
