Really looking forward to this tournament as TPC Sawgrass is one of my favorite courses. Could play the 17th all day.
Hoping I can put my 1st and 4th rounds from the Masters together for the whole tournament and get a Top 5 or a Top 10 finish.
I play there someday in real life , bet I put atleast 2 in the drink lol
Shot a -1 during the first round very happy with myself.
Just a reminder to everyone this will be the first week we will have a Pro-Am.We will post list of eligible players (actually a list with ineligible probably will be shorter) in the next couple of days.We will also post everyone's handicap for the week,as soon as SkinniePost fix his spreadsheet which someone messed up,while trying to modify and get all the scores of our first 3 tournaments in
I will get the handicap sheet updated today... Doesn't look like it is messed up to me though?
Handicap sheet is updated...
Where is it located?
Here is a preview...
I noticed I'm on the spreadsheet twice. My Username is Boom29, but my GT is Akai29. The two should be combined. Thanks!
Such a frustrating first round for me. On #3 (I think), the one where the creek runs in front of it...had a nice short wedge shot to the green left after my monster drive....I hit Perfect/Perfect...and it went in the creek. WTF? Recovered to get a double bogey. Ugh. THEN very next hole wind is right to left...so I aim right....and hit one stinking tree branch just past the tee box. Now I am just pissed, hack my way out to the green and 2 putt for a double bogey. Went from -2 through 2, to +2 through 4.
Rest of the round was superb. If it weren't for those two holes, would have been double digits under par easily.
Some one will shoot -40 in this tournament, IMO.
I haven't played it yet, so I can't say. I mean.... its not Augusta... and Skinnie went freaking 33 under or just over 8 under per day at AUGUSTA.
Based on the fact that, that was basically the hardest conditions possible, I can see Skinnie going 12 or 14 under on ANYTHING that ISN'T Augusta greens with crazy wind. In the right conditions Skinnie could birdie every hole and eagle a few for like 20-22 under. Not just him either, there are a couple guys that are just crazy good.
I just realized I forgot a word in that statement...
I meant it to say...
"Someone will EASILY shoot -40 in this tournament, IMO".
Okay, I played a round.
Top players I'm guessing will shoot 12-15 under. I'll take 14 under per round for the winner.
According to my sheets you are a top player
9 under per round aint gonna win it... trust me.
Played my first round. Two words......Missed Opportunities!
Was -5 after 12 and easily could have been better. A fucking four putt on 13 killed me. But, I think I just shot my first sub par round in TSO so I'm happy.
If you find a little confidence, I think you have a real shot at this one Keller... Get amped and drop some mad, silly, sick rounds on the competition... I'm in your corner
I haven't played yet this week but is the course that easy? I thought the wind was suppose to be a big factor again.
E,-5,+3 so far through three rounds. Nice to play a tourney where the wind isnt a factor. I have lost count of how many putts have just missed. I could easily be sitting at -15 or so. Im sure everyone could say that after every round though
Hmm I was getting 20+ on at least 5-6 holes round 1
I second this.
