Next Gen Is Coming...

With the Playstation 4 and Xbox One on the horizon, there have been numerous questions about our intentions as it relates to those next generation platforms.

The management team of The QSF are just as excited for the Xbox One and PS4 as the rest of the gaming community, but our intention here at The Q is to commit to the PS3 platform for the duration of the Madden 25 life-cycle.

While there will inevitably come a time when league leadership will have to make plans for the next generation, we feel that it is in the league's best interest to make it clear that those future plans will not affect our M25 franchise on the PS3.

On that same token, we expect the same commitment from owners that apply to and are selected to participate in The Q. We understand that those getting the new consoles will be excited to play them as much as possible, but we still expect those owners to follow through with their commitment as a member of The QSF on the PS3.

If any owner or applicant has any intentions of immediately abandoning the PS3 platform, and thus The QSF, as soon as you get your new console (prior to completion of the M25 lifecycle), then this is not the league for you at this time. We would much rather see you withdraw your application or resign your ownership now, on good terms, than to have you bail on us as soon as you get your new console of choice. Anyone withdraws for that reason now, you will still be in good standing when we eventually make the jump to the next gen. However, anyone that doesn't heed this message and drops after already establishing themselves as an owner in The Q for M25, will significantly hurt their chances for future consideration to join our league on the next gen platform.
