With Eli Manning not getting any younger, and Brett Favre's career INT record within reach, the New York Football Giants select Zach Martin OG/T/C from Notre Dame University. Martin has enough skill to play any of the positions along the offensive line and the Giants need to keep Manning upright until they can find a suitable successor. HogeB33
I have more questions about Robinson's game then all of the OT's selected so far (well Matthews and Lewan at least)
http://mmqb.si.com/2014/05/06/nfl-mock-draft-peter-king-khalil-mack-houston-texans/ In Peter King's mock Clowney goes at the 4th pick...as in this mock...but he goes to the Falcons via trade
I think it comes down to what he does next year. I still think he can be a great back for a few years. He just needs an offseason with the team to get fully acclimated. Couldn't expect much from him last season working with a new team and playbook. Time will tell.
I think they regret it now...already Their pick in this draft...this draft especially...is more valuable then Trich (not in Madden though) But hey...I still think we made out better then the Browns in the Julio trade....and plenty still disagree with that
I'm available to make some picks today ....if you get to the point where you just want to assign some people that are available ie klaximilian thafuture3886 ThaBayouChef
For what Julio is, I wouldn't disagree with that. But overall as a team, it definitely set y'all back IMO. Y'all have/had a lot of holes, especially on defense and o-line, that y'all are still trying to fill and patch up. The Julio trade was probably a big reason why it got so bad. He is a star player though for sure, so in that sense it was a good move.
We have today, tomorrow, and Thursday to get through it. So let's just see what we can get through today and if we need to start filling in tomorrow and Thursday we can do it. HogeB33 is on the clock. Pick due by 1/et...
I would slightly agree with you, if I knew we would "hit" on the other draft picks...but alas...we tend to swing and miss on later round prospects a lot...we hit it out of the park when we select in the first round though in the Dimitroff era The draft day blunder that hurts the most (old regime Rich McKay at GM helm) was selecting DE Jamaal Anderson in the first round... It still physically hurts my tummy
thafuture3886 ... You're up man. You're the new GM for the Rams, where y'all going with the 13th pick?? We'll give you a little while to research if needed...
With the 2 top WR's and 3 top OL off the board the St. Louis Rams select Ha Ha Clinton Dix with the 13th pick in the NFL Draft... Dix will bring a wealth of athleticism to a safety position that was average at best in the 2013 season. With his ability to cover slot wr's as well as his ability to come down and play in the box, Dix will be a cornerstone of this defense for many years to come with Robert Quin, Janoris Jenkins and James Laurinitis
Nice pick. STL is quietly getting loaded over there in the West. Watkins and Dix, two great players on both sides of the ball. Would be hard not to like that draft for them! RVallee ... Bears are up bro, who you got?!...I, personally, think they would have loved to have gotten Clinton-Dix, but...
I like Pryor also. Dude has the potential to be a taller, more physical Earl Thomas. And has great hands.
Bears select DT Aaron Donald of Pittsburgh Most mock drafts have him going here anyway. The Bears need to get both better and younger on defense, and really could make a case for DT, Safety or Cornerback with this pick (I agree, would look strongly at Clinton-Dix if he's still here). With just 3 DT's on roster, Donald is a great fit and a strong player to fit in on the defensive line with the free agent pickups the Bears got this offseason.
