I'm available for picks today as well ThaBayouChef Today is an exciting day...Every team in the NFL gets better today...except the Saints
Michael Overman ... Go ahead man, who the Pack taking?! ETA: We're either going with a WR to burn your secondary, or a DB to lock down Julio! Either way, we WILL get better!!
The Packers would have loved to see Ryan Shazier out of Ohio State drop to this pick...but alas he did not. The Packers did not expect TE Eric Ebron to fall this far, they are estatic to get him to replace Finley and add some help and an unfair advantage to QB A. Rodgers. The Packers select - Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina
Good pick. I didn't even think about him here, mostly because it still baffles me how he lasted this long and I forgot about him. Lol. Think I would have gone Kony Ealy, but Ebron makes much more sense to me. He would definitely make that offense more dangerous. Coach KO .. Iggles up, pick due by 10:30/et!
So many people dropping...and lots of WR's will probably go in the first (which the Falcons probably won't select) so that just keeps pushing other position players down the list. I'm loving that whoever the Falcons take in the 2nd round is going to be a first round talent.
As long as we don't give up our 2nd rounder this year...I'm okay with something like this 1st(6th pick), 3rd, 6th....next years first I don't mind giving up next years first at the expense of Clowney or Mack
If y'all get up to #1 without giving up this years 2nd, it would be a miracle I think. A Saints writer mocked us trading up to 19 with the Dolphins for Cooks, I think we'll have to trade up to 17 w/ the Ravens if we want him as much as everyone thinks, yesterday and he said it would most likely take our 3rd and 6th this year and possibly a pick next year as well. I'd be good with it because I think Cooks would be a perfect fit in our offense, but I don't want to give up that 2nd for anyone.
ThaBayouChef With Watkins, Evans, Beckham and Cooks already off the board the Eagles were left scrambling to find a WR to theoretically replace Dasean Jackson but also to compete with Riley Cooper and Maclin. The Eagles gave strong consideration to Kelvin Benjamin and Marqise Lee but ultimately decided to go with CB Darqueze Dennard out of Michigan St as they did not expect him to last this long. Dennard's combination of size and speed as well as his willingness to help in the run game will be a welcomed addition to the Eagles defense.
Was hoping he would keep slipping. Lol. And I also hope Chip pulls the trigger on Marqise Lee, because I really really don't want the Saints to take him. Lol. We all know how Chip loves his USC players!!
Kansas City Chiefs select USC WR Marqise Lee. They have the running back and QB. Maybe Lee can give Bowe some help. If not WR, don't be surprised if they go TE.
with the 24th pick, in the 2014 draft, the Cincinnati Bengals pick Bradley Roby, Cornerback from THEE Ohio State Leon Hall's uncertainty coming off of the torn ACL dictates this pick. The Bengals are loaded at the skill positions on offense, and will need to sure up the young secondary with a proven talent. Roby, although not your prototypical size for CB, is 5'11" 195. He has great hands and is agile. He doesn't have mind blowing speed, but will have no problems keeping up with the likes of Torrey Smith's, Josh Gordon's of the AFC North. He runs a 4.39 40 and has a 39" vertical. He needs to work on the weight room and increase his strength to be able to compete with the bigger receivers on those jumpball/50-50 balls. All in all, this is a great fit for the defensive minded Marvin Lewis, who will be looking at a defensive player for sure with this 1st round pick.
We'll use CTfromDC 's pick of Bradley Roby for the Bengals! His pick came in around the alotted 1 hour time frame... Michael Overman ... youre on the clock for the Chargers!
With Louis Nix, Anthony Barr, Dee Ford and Marquise Lee all an option for the Chargers, they will look to bolster their pass rush with Anthony Barr, DE, UCLA
