Honestly, Carr has been my favorite QB of this class for awhile now. I just think he's more football knowledgable than any of them. I would jump all over Carr if I were the Texans. Actually I think it's what they planned to do all along. Draft the #1 player in the draft, and then hope Carr falls to them in the 2nd. The situation with the Browns trading back, and then taking QB Manziel at 22 (the same situation and spot they took Brady Quinn) is pretty dam eerie IMO. Hope his fate is different for their sake. But still, getting Manziel at 22 is a steal, even if he doesn't pan out.

    Saints got my guy :(

Love Pryor as an enforcer, but I really wanted Cooks, or maybe even ODB. Looks like James gets to enjoy ODB for the years to come.

I think Rex wants to go 46 defense with his nasty front 4 by drafting this Bob Sanders clone (minus the injuries). He's an inside the box kind of safety with decent range.

I thought about you when you guys went with Pryor and I saw us jump up to 20. I knew we were going Cooks as soon as that happened, lol. I think he's gonna be a stud man...Pryor was my favorite safety in the draft, good player. Hard hitter and a ball hawk.

Given the run on safeties in the first round, I'm OK with the pick. We got the best one out there, and the next 3 got taken before the round was over. It was already a thin safety class, and going into round 2, there is practically no one.

Lots of WRs left, so we'll see what they do.

I knew when they traded up they were going for Cooks. Good for NO, and good for Cooks. Brees should love him....

I'm a bit torn on the Lions pick. I really wanted to see them go defense, specifically safety now that Delmas is gone. Or LB though the top two were gone with Mack and Barr.

On the other hand, Ebron is a bit exciting and the more I think about the offense with this guy in it, I like it more and more. The new OC Lombardi had Jimmy Graham in NO and Ebron isn't Graham but he can certainly be a nice weapon on offense. There was alot of talk about them moving up for Watkins or Evans, and I'm glad they stayed put and took Ebron rather than give up a bunch to get one of those two, as Ebron is essentially a WR playing TE. We may finally be at that point where defenses will no longer be able to triple-cover Megatron lol.

I do hope it's defense the rest of the draft for the Lions.

Ebron just gave your offense yet another legitimate weapon if his head is screwed on tightly. He's a great value pick.

If the Lions neglect the defense in the next few rounds, I'd be worried. There is plenty of talent left, but the CB and S pool is running thin.

Dix got so excited, he rolled a joint in the restaurant. (check the booth seat)

Mack to the Raiders is insane value at 5.

Not CB man. They still have some really good ones left. I'm hoping Stanley Jean Baptiste or Pierre Desir is still there when we pick in the 2nd, but would be shocked if the Lions don't take either of those guys.

Sorry, I'm thinking of CBs that fit the Jets scheme. Man-Press...Jean-Baptist might not be ideal for that scheme, even with his size.

I'd like the Jets to take a look at Desir in the 3rd, but in all honesty, I think there is significant drop off after the top5 CBs, which are all off the board.

I just want to say GREAt idea ThaBayouChef! Thanks to everyone who participated, and I am sorry I missed my pick.

For the record, I am ecstatic about the Browns 1st round. I was (and still am) torn on Johnny Football (aka Johnny Cleveland), but I think he is a great value at 22. Gilbert to pair up with Haden, moving Skrine to the nickel spot (where he is best suited), LOVE IT! To top it off, we come away with an extra 1 and 4 next year. I would be willing to bet the Browns aren't done moving and shaking. ;)

Browns were definitely the clear cut day 1 winners in my book. Even if Manziel turns out to be Ryan Leaf, it doesn't even really matter that much with him being picked at 22. Plus adding that other 1st rounder, great day 1 for them!

Both The Falcons and the Browns tried to trade up to 22 (among other teams cough Vikings)...The Falcons were going to select Dee Ford...The Browns deal was sweeter...and we didn't make the move

I'm still happy with our selection in round two with
