The Rams Win The Rocky Mountain Showdown
Coach Daher wins big in his first game. Taking out in state rival, Colorado, in his first game coaching the Rams shows his early impact on this team and confirms the hire to the fans. Coach Daher stuck to his word. The rams played a very safe game and it payed off. They ran the ball with power and confidence and passed just enough to keep Colorado on its toes. This approach kept the Rams from giving up any turnovers. Colorado gave up two.

The rams saw a 14 point lead at half become a 7 point deficit by the end of the 3rd quarter. Colorado's Head coach made some great half time adjustments at the half which brought them back into the game at a rapid pace.

Coach Daher admitted after the game that he got comfortable with the 14 point lead after the half and took more unnecessary chances and deviated from his game plan some during that 3rd quarter. In the fourth quarter down a TD the rams got back to their first half approach and put the game away with 10 unanswered points in the fourth.

    Offensive player of the game:
    RB C. Nwoke (26 carries, 194 yards 2 TDs. Long of 49)
