The Rise: Week 4 Season 2

Wow, can hardly believe we are in Week 4 already. We've got a couple big users matchups this week. They are:

#9 ULCA (HovatheGodMC) at #4 Oregon St (WhyGodWhy1111)

Texas Tech (tmac) at #18 Wisconsin (Twist)

#10 USF (mcGriffle) at Louisville (RollTide)

Good Luck to everyone. Have fun, fair games. Advance will be no later than Tuesday night. Heisman and Rankings are updated.

  3. Crazy Game. Ridiculous!

    Georgia 60, Mississippi State 40

Georgia utilized 5 50+ plays to bury Mississippi State in a game that saw over 1000 yards of offense combined.

Freshman QB Tyler Russell completed 18 of 36 for 193 yards and 1 TD. He had 2 picks.

Running backs Ladarius Perkins and Robert Elliot both turned in 100-yard performances, but it was not enough to overcome Georgia HB Richard Samuel's 199-yard performance (and he got hurt early in the second half and didn't return!)

Georgia TE Aron White caught 4 passes for 176 yards (yes, that was ridiculous).

"I was disappointed at the number of big plays my defense gave up today," coach Harry said. "We;re going to have to get better than this if we want to compete for a league title."

Another Pac-10 Match-up for the bruins becomes a close throughout with both defenses playing well. The drive of the game was a 90 yd drive by the bruins offense that took nearly the whole 3rd QTR and resulted in a TD by Carroll from the wildcat formation. The Beavers answered right back with a quick score. Hova's bruins then drove down the field, ran the clock out and scored a TD with 33 seconds left. Oregon St drove down to the 20 then CB West stepped in front of the pass and ran out of bounds ending the game with no time left on the clock.

    GG,

that one was decided by the randomness of stone hands reflected by the low INT slider(or maybe my D just can not catch) and your ability to covert 3rd down. 12-17 on 3rd down and 3-3 on 4th. The number of plays you ran compared to me was ridiculous.

Somehow it feels like I just gave you the national championship.

I'll get you next year :)

The Badgers just dominated with a great run game, I think John Clay ended with like 184. I made a run late in the game and had a chance to tie with around 40 seconds left, but a pick ended my hopes of a dramatic comeback and has helped me see that Texas Tech needs a new playbook next season. Great game by the Badgers.
