All recruit talk and commit announcements go here!
Got my first commit with Bucknell.
6'4'' 190 lbs WR Thomas Fontenot from Perry Hall, Maryland.
Had him scouted at 71% at a 62 overall.
65 route running
He was 1 of the 6 interested in Bucknell lol and the only 3 star.
Fuck I thought I was gonna get him.
Though if it puts a damper on it, his speed is only 86.
First commit in the books for THE Georgetown Hoyas:
I'm not too proud to take a 2 star early.
6'2'' 214 lbs OLB from Naticoke, Pennsylvania.
100% scouted. He's a beastly 60 OVR
74 SPD, 90 ACC, 68 tkl, 62 Block shedding
Fuck, I only had 2 guys interested in Howard. Im in deep shit!
Yeah, that incredible two-star LB i landed really puts you in a hole...
I think I had 6 guys with me in the top ten, and 4 were 1*'s. At least Massachusetts is rich in high school talent.
Rhode Island had some decent kids in the first run. Round two not so much.
First run I had a mediocre 3* HB with me as his top school. No such luck this time.
The first year is always the most fun
Boom mother fuckers
MLB(#14) Austin Wilson 6' 229 from New London, CT
70 overall-100% scouted-either +4 or +6
85 speed, 74 str, 61 agi, 80 acc, 78 tackle, 74 power, 59 purs, 71 recog, 83 fin mvs, 76 block shed, 69 man, 53 zone
I'd rather have this guy immediately more than any other scrub on my board. The dominant Yale D of the future will be built around him. Nik was also after him so that's a nice bonus. MLB was also a major, major need since a 60 ovr sophomore was the heir-apparent. His 70 rating already makes him the 2nd best Yale defender going into next year.
I'm not going to lie I liked that guy. I also enjoy that a guy I recruit gets a boost in status as well.
Georgetown didn't offer.
QB Luther Mitchell (#137 QB)
Well signing Luther Mitchell may have been a mistake... His only good attribute is 70 throw accuracy. Pretty much, he was taken to fill a roster spot. Both QBs on the roster are better than him in every area. He will be a good 'player coach' on the sidelines. His main job... holding a clipboard.
Coach him up!
Hey, whenever you get the chance to sign the 137th rated QB in the nation, you gotta do it
Columbia signs their first commit of the 2012 season. JR JUCO QB Bobby Jones will most likely start next season:
Looks like a mugshot to me...definitely not Ivy League material
We need a governing board
Starting next year, no Jucos! What say you guys?
I really like all the changes to DynastyWire
