    Thought for Season 7

A good number of us have byes for week 15. I know I've never had a week 15 game in the first 6 seasons of this thing. A thought I had that could make the national title run more interesting is to have EVERYONE have a user game in week 15. Not only would this be fun in terms of getting into the MNC game, but it could be a "bracketbuster" in terms of knocking teams out of BCS games. Thoughts?

Now that I can win a user game, I think this is a swell idea. Maybe we could "seed" teams based on finish this year and go #1 vs. #2, 3v4 etc. Just to make sure we have the power houses playing each other and the rebuilding teams playing each other.

Week 16 is championship week. There are still games in week 15, as well as recruiting.

In terms of seeding, that works great provided the teams that are scheduled to play each other aren't from the same conference. I guess in that case you could switch up 2 teams' spots.

    Yeah, definately.

If all of that is possible, it will be done sir!

I'd really like to play Jman as a season finale, I've yet to beat him in T4, and Horner is a beast - hopefully he'll be injured by then :D haha

Just did a quick check on what would happen if the current rankings were final for the year and we used those. I put the highest ranked team vs. second highest, third highest vs. fourth highest, etc.

    Purdue vs. Texas Tech
    Texas A&M vs. Arizona
    Wisconsin vs. Cal
    Iowa vs. UCLA
    Tulsa vs. Minnesota
    Colorado vs. Washington

I swapped up Arizona and Wisconsin (AZ moved up, WI moved down). Arizona would have been going up against Cal, which is already a conference game. If I swapped Cal with Iowa, Cal would have UCLA. Again, a conference game. This is based on the rankings shown when I check online, and I'm not sure if that's the BCS rankings or not. Some mighty interesting match-ups if that's the case.

If we do want to do this with the seedings, which rankings would we use? Final regular season rankings? Post-bowl game rankings? gamerankings.com?

I'd be more than happy to help out with this to get the matchups determined. I'd suggest the higher "seed" gets the home game, but that could go whatever way we wanted.

That's what I would think, too. I can put that together quick if you want. Just need to make sure I can get a version of the dynasty before it's advanced to the off-season.

I had a bitch of a game this year, so at least if I have to lose a game in week 15, I'd like it to be to a person and not the cpu.

Did a redo based on end of season (after bowls) standings:

    1. Texas Tech (Post-season rank #1)
    2. Wisconsin (2)
    3. Texas A&M (3)
    4. Cal (4)
    5. Purdue (5)
    6. Iowa (6)
    7. Arizona (7)
    8. UCLA (8)
    9. Minnesota (14)
    10. Tulsa (17)
    11. Washington (23)
    12. Colorado (Not ranked)

Since Purdue would play Iowa and Arizona would play UCLA based on the seedings, that wouldn't work. If you drop Iowa one slot and move Arizona up one, it works fine. Proposed week 15 matchups:

    Wisconsin @ Texas Tech
    Cal @ Texas A&M
    Arizona @ Purdue
    UCLA @ Iowa
    Tulsa @ Minnesota
    Colorado @ Washington

I think it looks like a lot of smack talk!
