    Thoughts on 6/23 & Whole RS200 Series

    1. I seemed to be a little bit more impatient tonight, not really sure why. I still gave room, and didn't hit anyone really except for that stupid ass lack of braking at Nurb, but I just felt a little anxious. Sorry J, and anyone that may have scratched their head in my direction tonight. Hopefully I didn't put anyone it too bad of a spot.

    2. Helli - I definitely came back onto the track, but I'm allowed to, I think, right? If I stay off there I'm hitting the wall the entire rest of the turn. I didn't make a sharp right back on -- at least it didn't feel like. I know you saved the replay and I would like your honest thoughts. My feelings on it are like I said in the party chat, that turn is not really a good passing opportunity with that kind of angle. I think you slid a bit wider figuring you would be by me, and I think I came onto the track a bit more for the same reason -- in my eyes it was a racing deal in a tough corner. I wasn't happy at the time but hey, thats how things go. If it was all my fault please let me know because I would like to learn from it.

    3. Del - Thanks for a great tune and a fun idea for a series. The races were all really competitive and we saw that in the results, with most people swapping successes.

    4. Bondzai - You're a trooper man, thanks for coming out every race and giving it your all. Fun to have guys around that truly enjoy the game.

    5. Casino - We had our early series mix-up but I didn't race you any differently moving forward and neither did you towards me. That's good stuff man, fun battle there at Nurb to close it out.

    6. S N G - Class act all the way. Thanks for the racing room, and man, I'll never forget that Silverstone race to start it all off.

    7. Last, but not least, JMS. Thanks for keeping this series organized and run well. We had a bunch of good battles -- again sorry for the mistake I made at the Ring. Thanks for staying fair with all your decisions, racing hard, and taking no prisoners.

    Good stuff guys!

There were a couple of things about this.

You were completely off the track, as in all four wheels with additional space between you and the curb. I thought that was going to slow you down a lot more than it did. Dead grass, I guess.

In a perfect world if you have a complete off I think "sim racing" is to assume you are going to lose a spot to anybody in your immediate group.... and just look for a safe place to get back on the track without hitting anybody. But what is "sim" really, I have seen professional racers shoot back onto the track after going off...

On the other hand, if I had it to do over again, I would have just hung back and tried to re-organize behind you.

Admittedly I gave you less room than I thought, looking at that replay. the thing was, once I saw you not losing any speed I took the corner faster than normal hoping to clear you before the corner so we'd both not get in a wreck, but instead my car slid out further than I wanted and we touched corners.

My reaction time saved my ass there. I was going a helluva lot faster than you at that point but I hit the brakes immediately after we touched and it took you maybe another 150 feet.

anyway, I know this doesn't exactly sound like I'm taking full blame; I think we both could have done better. For my part If I knew you weren't gonna slow down hardly at all going fully off the track, there's no way I try to pass. I try to be patient the vast majority of the time. I guess I didn't want my battle with Casino to end lol.

Ya, so basically, we both could have done things a bit differently and it was just a racing deal. I definitely wasn't trying to put full blame on you by any means. Just a strange situation at a tough part of the track.

I have to say this was a great well run series as always. I have to say jms is great with the league tables etc etc. We have such a good group of racers events are always a pleasure to be involved in and as a Brit I am always most greatful to you for letting me join. My only regret is when I end up missing the odd night cos I enjoy our races and drivers so much. I can't really take the credit for the car I basically threw in a couple of suggestions and jms went with the RS200 tune and made the decision. I had a good series for me a few good races and pretty much a good steady haul of points each week. I also had a couple of tracks I expected to do a little better on but also had a couple of steady results on tracks I expected to do bad on lol. I know Helli will still say I am too steady trying to get through traffic when I get the chance but hey that's still work in progress. I have to say it was great to be involved in the Silverstone heat which I think is the best race I have ever been in on any video game and it was also great to see Steve go flag to flag for I think I am right in saying was his first win with Tradition. It was a well earned good all round drive (nice 1 mate). Also it was nice to see Basis, Jms on form and having some good drives. Casino Casino Casino settle on the clutch n get ur ass into gear it's been proven to work however I have to say you do awesome at what you do. Bondzai has to be the best shining example of our group for commitment and enjoyment of the game, always reliable, great fun, aware of what's going on around him and a real credit to our group we can all learn a lot from this genuine really solid nice guy and he has my upmost respect, help, money whatever you want mate just ask. Before this goes to far I have to make it clear Bondzai I would only marry you if you were female just to get it straight. Now what can I say about Helli that hasn't already been said. He is just a real legend great friend and always honest and upfront which suits me just fine. Great racing lines with such a smooth movement on the steering put that with an overtaking master and we have the Hellimonster. Doesnt matter what track or car he can just do his thing. I have only known Steve for a couple of months but has already become a great mate and as you all know not many Brits seem to get that far with me lol. He is just another genuine bloke that doesn't moan etc and I am glad he has become a hard to catch/pass racer. He is always reliable and I think had a good steady 1st series he will build on with some great results. Now he knows everyone he'l hit the ground running on the next 1 I am sure of that. I am also glad to see him getting into building n tuning etc which I know he will benefit from.

I know I have said this before but it would be great to get back to the days of 2 lobbies however we have seen n heard from a couple of new guys in the past and it's a shame they didn't stick around but new guys must realise we have been racing sims for a while now n it will take most some time to get going and competitive however we do help out where we can with advice n the odd car etc also from a personal point of view anyone I help I would expect to give it a fair go before giving up. There is also another option if I may say sng73 and I have a new site just started and are looking for a few new reliable guys to join us where you could race with a few other new guys as a developing ground for Tradition. Please delete this bit Helli if I am speaking out of turn it's just a thought. Also sorry to sng73 for not consulting you in this matter but hay you know me if it seems a decent idea I run with it lol. Please message us if you are interested. I also have a couple of decent tunes on my storefront cheap I will change brake pressures for you etc if you need it.

A good all round group of guys with a decent ish organiser lol. You are all always a pleasure to race with.

    Thanks again all.
Damn I am still way to nice for god sake Helli sort me out lol

So my thoughts on the series and the racers...

JMS - Thanks for continuing to be the de-facto leader, organizing this shit, because as good of a group as we have if we didn't have somebody pushing to get races together we wouldn't have anything at this point.

DEL - Nope, not gonna say anything about how nice you are, you drive exactly the way you want to be driven against which is fair and you're always in the race. Seems like anytime you get a chance to get the lead early it's pretty much over, the sure sign of a dangerous racer.

SNG - Glad you've joined us we really enjoy your presence. And yeah you do seem to fade, maybe you need an energy drink heahahahaha. I wonder how it would look if we ever raced a night at a time when the Brits were awake. But I will say.... I had 1 hour of sleep the night before this last race... lol

CA$INO - I hate you. I felt bad for Basis seeing him get behind you after he caught up to us on Nurburgring... lmao

Basis - I felt bad for you seeing you get behind Casino after he made the mistake to let me get by on Nubrugring... lmao Off mic I was singing
    BA-SIS-FOR-A-DAY-FIF-TY-SIX!!!!

Bond - Thanks for not getting pizzed that we started without ya lawl. And hey, we didn't collect each other this week that's good.

I had a lot of fun in this series even though I came in last in most of the races. I've been playing more lately with Del and those guys so I'm hoping to improve and get to the point where I can start using the clutch.
