According to the TW/EA forums, there will be a bit of an information/release dump tomorrow.

In the mean time, an article has been posted on ign detailing SOME information.

    http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/01/07/tiger-woods-pga-tour-14-goes-technicolor

    • For the first time ever, all 4 majors will be in the game. You will be able to play at the Masters, US Open, Open Championship, and PGA Championship. IN THEORY (although nothing than official), that means that the courses that these 4 are played at this season will be in the game. Of course Augusta is in the game, Merion Golf Club (US Open), Muirfield (Open Championship), and Oak Hill CC (PGA Championship).
    • The 'story' mode of the game will be a progression through classic golfers. It looks like you will take your golfer and start at the 'dawn of golf' and progress through current day trying to take down the legends.
    • They've been slowly releasing who the Legends are on Facebook/Twitter, but the article above releases all of them. Bobby Jones, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, Seve Ballesteros, and the 2001 Tiger Woods
    • There will be a Day/Night cycle that lets you play anytime from early morning through nighttime (complete with glow in the dark balls).
    • 20 on disc courses
    • A higher Country Club cap at 100 instead of 25. This also confirms that the Country Club feature will be back.
    • 35 licensed golfers
As I said above, there will be more information tomorrow it looks like.
In the mean time, here are a few images from that article. There's also a short video of the legends at the article.

I just hope you can play the country club tournaments with other players.

I am hoping for some really good new courses.. Tired of the TPC Sawgrass and Pebble Beach but know they are iconic.. Just wanting some new courses!! The legends mode sounds interesting but not something that will change my perception of the game..

One of the games bullet points on amazon is Dynamic Weather from Weather Channel. Hasn't that been in the game forever now?

'Dynamic' seems a like a new word. Could mean something different. Previous editions it was just 'Live Weather'.

    I could be completely wrong....

I hope to be pleasantly surprised by doubt that will be the case. Most likely they just finally got the license to put in The Open and The PGA instead of "EA Major Championship" on the offline schedule.

To get it for free. As always, I'm sure after 45 days it will be available for paid DLC.

Do what I do...go in and make friends with the guys at Gamestop. They will print you a code if you are nice to them.

I kind of burnt the bridge with my closest gamestop with one of the employees. Called him a few names because he was trying to screw me over when I pre-ordered the newest batman game saying I did not have it pre-ordered. Even brought my receipts in showing I pre ordered it but still saying no money down.. I probably could get a code depending who is working that day..

I saw all the information on EA sports website today. Sounds really exciting especially when you play with other people at the same time on the same course that the tournament is being held on and it will update in real time. Looking forward to the upcoming tour on TSO and woo hoo Paula Creamer "She's in the game".

It's the Muirfield Village course that the Memorial Tournament is held at every year. A lot of people have been wanting this course in the game for a long time.

*Didn't know the Open course had the same name till I saw this. Maybe it may be in as well. I wish they would release all the courses first. One piece of info I look forward to most.

Any one know the difference between the regular version and the historic version besides being able to play the 1934 Augusta course?

    • 1934 Augusta National (original layout)
    • Par 3 Course
    • Practice Facility
    • 4 additional courses (don't know which ones yet)
Might be more, but that's what I've found so far.

Cool, thanks. That makes the 10 more dollars worth it.

Don't forget with Arnie on the cover there is no way Bay Hill doesn't make a comeback.

Murifield Village was Jack's development in Ohio. Almost got him bankrupt as the real estate market crashed and they had invested a huge amount of $$ in all the houses built,if I'm not mistaken

I agree with Bay Hill...should be there...but it's not 'new' per se. ;)

It will be funny if Muirfield (Open Championship) makes it in too. Gonna be some confusion. Muirfield Village was actually named after Muirfield.
