I backed out of the last deal, so if it was approved dont count it. this is my 3rd and final trade.

    49ers send:
DE Steve Lafleur 62 50?(cant be right) B
    5th rounder

    Titans send:
    WR Damian Williams 76 22 B
    DE Vernon Gholston 78 24 B
    LB Scott McKillop 72 24 C

This is a deal that provides the 49ers with two decent young players and two short term contracts. This deal provides the Titans with immediate cap relief and a prospect they covet.

If you want cap relief, trade older players. Those players have too much value. Declined.

we are working on a revised offer. btw, i know it doesnt change anything now, but gholston is a backup on my team. he doesnt like gholston much anyways, but he likes damian i think so he will have to stay in the deal.
should we make a new thread with the revised deal when we get there?

Lefleur's value sucks compared to Williams alone.

You're going the wrong direction in value.

The point of this trade is to get cap relief, not to get equal value in return. For example the trade the giants just made did not haul equal value.

i'll put a 3rd rd pick instead of a 4th which is what Williams would be worth..

    Steve Lefleur 62 rookie B
    3rd rd

    for
    WR Damian Williams 81 25 B
    LB David Thornton 73 35 C
    DT Senderrick Marks 71 29 C
    LB Scott Mckillop 71 24 C

@yankeery25 On what planet does a 4th rounder and a 62 B equal FOUR players over 70 rating 3 being "B" pot. NO

please try to see this from my point of view. i am acquiring a 62 B, a 4th rounder, and $11 of cap relief for 4 players that do not even see the field
its funny how all the criticism is directed at me, as if im trading between myself
the giants just traded a 90+ DE and an 85+ LB for 2nd and 3rd rounder for the purpose of cap relief. He traded a superstar. I'm trading backups

if a 5th rd pick is good enough to get holmes a 4th(now a 3rd) is good enough to get williams and scrubs..

plus if a 2nd rounder and cap relief is enough for justin tuck, then a 3rd and cap relief is enough for damian williams and scrubs

If you want cap relief, trade older players. Not young ones.

You all can link other trades you think were less fair than yours, until you break the Internet. It doesn't change the fact each trade here is handled on a case by case basis. Keller used his veto vote on the Giants trade, Giants were CPU run and in major Cap trouble, why should a new owner not be able to get some value aside from cutting his best players?

@bringbackjimmy the fact that Santonio Holmes was only worth a 5th rounder in the NFL in an uncapped year after he failed a 2nd drug test that led to an 8 game suspension, has ZERO bearing on TMFL trade policy.

    Cmon guys.

@yankeery25 , if its just relief you need cut them. I have to imagine since they "don't see the field" anyway. YOU blew 2 trades on "prospect players", now you want a sympathy vote on your last trade to allow you to fix your cap? YOU TRADED for REVIS, $12 YOU have 2 MLBS making $7 I'm not picking on you especially but seriously.............We are looking at it from your side, you have to manage the cap for long term.
