I cannot repeat enough what a intense rivalry this game is for these teams not only because they are in the same division but the 2 head coaches have beeing battling each other for to many seasons to count. Jags were now healthy with their starting QB Carl Elliottt back and boy did he provide an impact both good and bad. The Jags came out with a tempo and purpose on offense the Titans had never seen with their previous QB's and put together a masterful drive mixing the run and pass with great playcalling and timing to get deep in the redzone to put the finishing touches on a quality opening drive unitl an ill-timed pass was picked off in the endzone by Aerion Hill who out ran the Jaguars pursuing him to return the interception a 102 yds for the score to put up Tennessee 7-0 early in the 1st. Titans defense were able to get a punt out of the Jags offense and started a promising drive before the opposing defense put a big hit on Chris Johnson who fumbled the ball away. Jacksonville turned that turnover into a score to tie the game at 7-7. Tennessee would eventually put together a drive to go up 10-7 middle of the 2nd qtr. Once again Jacksonville put together a drive that had the Titans guessing what they would do next and eventually scored to go up 14-10 at the half. After a slight sputter to both teams offenses in the 2nd half Tennessee would retake the lead with a Chris Johnson 6yd plunge up the gut to make the score 17-14. The key play of the game was a big stop of a WR screen to Ted Ginn that ended up a yard short that forced a punt back to the Titans who eventually drove down and score to take a lead of 24-14 with time running out for Jacksonville. The Jaguars would respond with a late score to close the gap to 27-21. A onside kick was attempted but recovered by Tennessee who ran out the clock to preserve a huge divisional win that completed a season sweep of the Jags. Key stats of the game were the turnovers that helped decide the games outcome.

GG Dmass If your QB was healthy most of this season I have no doubt record would be totally different
