Tennessee came into this 2nd of back to back home games trying to get back on the winning track. Early in the 1st qtr an ill-timed pass was picked off deep within Titans territory. The defense was able to stiffen up and only allow a FG. Jake Locker unfazed by the earlier interception threw a 60+ yd TD to Nate Washington to go up 7-3. Chicago answered back with a Devin Hester punt return for a TD to take the lead 10-7. Right before the half Chris Johnson would take a screen pass to the house to take a 14-10 lead into the half. The Titans would build on their halftime lead building it to a 24-10 advantage late in the 3rd qtr. Chicago would wake up big time by getting a Matt Forte TD run to close the gap to 7 points. Titans were doing all they could to hold on by putting together drives that would peter out before any lasting damage could be done. The Bears took advantage finally late in the 4th qtr by putting together a clutch drive to make the tying score with 17 seconds left in the game. To set up an OT showdown. Marc Mariani had different ideas on the ensuing kickoff returning the ball deep inside Bears territory to their 32 yard line to set up the game winning FG by Bironas to put a dagger into Chicago's OT bid.
