Titans Making Moves for the 2012 season Titans ended the 2011 season in the playoffs but lost in the first round to the New York Jets. They had a lot of problems during the game to which the Titans GM realized they had to step up the teams attitude and get the players in the right positions. RFA's included Barrett Ruud, Cortland Finnegan, Dave Ball, Chris Hope, Ahmard Hall, Jake Scott. Of those guys Ruud, Finnegan, Hall, and Scott continue on the team. Draft day came along and the Titans were calm going into the draft having a couple of options to choose from they got future star SS Timothy Mingley coach says 'this guy will be huge asset to the team for sure his hit power is insane' 2nd round they got a LE that fits more as a 3-4, GM is unsure at this point of how to take advantage of this, 'we may have a very complex defensive scheme, hopefully it goes well though'. A couple options have came to mind which include keeping him as a full time DE both 3-4 and 4-3 or go find another 3-4 DE and have a complex package. Both of which is going to be exciting for Titans. The biggest move, maybe not the biggest surprise, is the release of QB Matt Hasselbeck. This opens the door for Jake Locker. He is the future and this is his time to shine, 'he sat all last year except the end, playoff time came around and he showed he can carry a team from down 14-0 to almost winning the game.' Titans trying to make a move in UFA currently!
